It's now time for our exercises. Fall in line. Hut hut!

Dammit Evet. Who put YOU in charge?

Taibbi should stick to WallStreet, where he is doing a fantastic job. But trying to legitimize the idiocy of Palin's book and her followers by concluding that all we ever bitch about are slow drivers on the freeway is completely innaccurate. At least I hope so. But several people have commented on wanting to borrow my copy of "The Peoples History of the United States".

To get caught by an open microphone.
Then they'll see.

What is your conceptual, continuity?

They'll see... what? The wind whistles in her ears?
Really, what can she say that's shocking to her crowd? And f bomb? No big deal these days. Call Obama an N*r? That would offend about half her crowd, and perhaps turn off a quarter. Honestly, though, that would get her sainted by the other half. "She says what I think!!!"

"I told my daughter to go on unemployment and food stamps, and she's going to Canada for cheap medical care?" Yes, that might cause an upheaval among her base.

Remember, this is the party that sweeps creepy homophobic old guys soliciting sex from cops in bathrooms or teenage boys under the rug. Bush is Good. Tax cuts for the rich protect freedom. Her base is so well trained for cognitive disconnects that there is little she can get in trouble for. I think about the worst that could happen right now is if Levi was right and she was caught calling her special needs child "my little retard". I think that would quite rightfully pillory her.

The only way to beat the HMO vampires is to stamp them out. Sadly, HMO lobbyists have bribed so many congress critters that we must first purge the Democratic party of sellouts before any progress will ever be made in this vital area of national health.

One possible key would be a constitutional amendment declaring that a corporation is not a person and does not enjoy the constitutional rights of a person. That concept is at the heart of the disease that is plaguing America.

Corporations get sick too – AND free health care…

BOA: Dr. Paulson, I’m not feeling well.
Dr. Paulson: Here, take 2 billion and call me in the mid-terms.
BOA: Thanks doctor. I’m feeling better already.

Thanks for the mention, yeah I'm off the beaten path and in my own little world. But everyone knows me there.

Good Taibbi piece. That billboard is appalling.

About Clinton's political career. Too fucking cowardly to even support people he'd normally agree with, ideologically, because it was more convenient to suck up to "middle-of-the-road" Dems and Repugs on both sides who didn't exist. That Tom Tomorrow comic strip which mentions "Bring your daughters to work day" among his accomplishments was spot on. That's why I didn't vote for Hillary-because I knew she'd make a bold promise like her hubby which she couldn't fulfill. Say what you want about our current health care bill, but at least it's a start; and that's something Bubba couldn't or wouldn't do when he was running the show.
