Maybe we need to get away from the Global Warming meme and just start telling people the Earth has reached its carrying capacity, just like in biology (remember biology?). And the earth is about to correct itself if we don't start having just one baby per family and consume a lot less crap.

Can we get off the global warming evidence was faked....no, we will never be off it. It has been dropped into their database and will continue to be a most important bit of information regardless of future events.

I agree with the approach offered by curt above.
We need to care for the planet because it is the right, moral thing to do. Those who would shit in their nest and call it freedom are really not your moral giants now are they?
