How a terrorist attack that kills a couple hundred people would lead to a nuclear confrontation. Kill hundreds of thousands or maybe millions to get revenge for the killing of a couple hundred? Doesn't even make sense to me but, I'm not a world leader.

Your not a world leader and you maybe you don't have the religious conviction that leads you to believe that your god has put an invisible shield around you. Maybe you don't believe that you act as an agent of god and if you don't act you will be punished for eternity with the most vile torture imaginable. But if you fight the "good" fight and die your rewards in the after life will be splendid. Religion is the root of all evil.

The only black author I can name right-off-hand is Richard Wright. As a teenager I read his autobiography and Native Son.
Can anyone tell me the name of the black scientist who discovered blood typing, only to die later in life because the first hospital they took him to was for whites only, and he bled to death on the way to the black hospital?
I've tried on the internet, but unless you know what your asking for and word it as briefly as possible, it doesn't always work.
