Thank you for the Economist's View on the CRA Hoax.
The nits will not like all the hard number research debunking this slander against low income people, but I love the hard numbers, can't get enough of them really.
Who created the financial crisis, lots of blame to go around, start with the Republicrats.
It wasn't the poor folks.
Here is my last comment.
I listened to the Fat One in the weeks leading up to the Repudiation, hoping to hear his head explode, and he constantly pressed that notion that the econopolypse was soley the fault of Barney Frank because of the CRA.
And it doesn't even need to be explained how fallacious this argument is; how did "the poors" force the banks and brokerages to create the Mortgage-backed Securities and Credit Default Swaps that they then leveraged 400%?
Tools lecturing tools. Disgusting...
GOP ethics? Funniest one liner I've heard in a while.
The War on Drugs is wasting my god damn tax money and my anger over it can't be overestimated. With the blogs emerging as the new media we have a great opportunity to right some of these wrongs and our anger and outrage should not be allowed to be pacified. I like humor and irrelevancy as much as the next person, but I like anger and results even more. Thanks for keeping up on the tough fight Mike. We need it.

Jeb Bush can go to hell!
I watched this movie last week and I just wanted to thank "The Onion" for the hours of gut splitting laughter. Anyone who wants to take a break from all of this bad news gloom and doom for a little while, watch this movie. It's well worth it and great excercise for the stomach muscles :)
But ok....I'll check this "moooovie" you say is so gosh darn hilarious!
;)
Ya know, conservatives would have more credibility if they didn't outright lie about so much - CRA, card check, you name it... And the media would have more credibility if they actually called out lies more often.
i don't really see how the 'war on drugs' has anything to do with drugs. but, it has proven a tremendously effective way of injecting US power into regions were there is no reason to inject us power (see, south america).
tell me mr. dea agent, the billions spent, the millions imprisoned, the thousands killed... how is the war going? i mean, other than the direct transfer of wealth from US taxpayers to the prison-military complex. that seems to be going swimmingly.
