How the Patriot Act is being used today. In 2009 it was reported by the Administrative Office of the US Courts 763 warrant requests were made under the Patriot Act. Of those, less than half a percent (3) were related to charges of terrorism and 62% were related to drug charges. (PDF warning)

Visited a town in wing-nut county yesterday. They had signs posted for the "republican victory" celebration at several locations.

Foreclosures are rampant in the area, unemployment through the roof, and small businesses dying off faster than a heart attack victim with republican health insurance.

Yet, all these geniuses can do, is get giddy at the thought of the same a**holes who caused all their problems returning to power.

I got nothing anymore. All I can do is shake my head and sigh at the stupidity of half the people in this country. Honestly, this would be hilarious if it were not so pathetic. I wonder who these morons will blame if their GOP psycho buddies do win congress (which by the way, I don't think they have a chance), and give us the real deal Great Depression sequel from the GOP.

What's the chance these morons will figure it out then?

Is that they won't figure it out. If you can take a trip to Canada or see if you can watch Canadian news to get a different perspective on your country.
