Got some serious Orwell memory hole this week in less than 60 seconds.
First, I saw Moody analysts on the telly talking about what we should be looking at in the economy. Isn't that kind of like bringing in the guys from beta-max to discuss future trends in technology?
Hey Moody's clown, how about lookin' for toxic junk securities that have a AAA rating?
Why haven't these guys been served papers yet?
Then, not to be outdone, we had austerity conservatives demanding that welfare for the richest millionaires must be maintained, otherwise the great god of Wall Street will hurl down pestilence and catastrophe on his people. This of course is the one instance in which deficits don't matter.
Thus it is in the corporate fascists states of America, September 6th, 2010.
Rush Limbaugh is what a smart person thinks a stupid bigot sounds like.
Oh...so NOW all of a sudden everyone is bitching about the trainwreck that is Rahm Emanuel.
Being ahead of the curve is such a burden.
"Anyone that makes less than $150K in this country, has no business voting Republican."
I see it becoming increasingly apparent that Wall Street thinks that if Armageddon comes that the rich will be able to ride it out. By what imagination does that false premise springs from?
The job title "president's handler" comes to mind. Must have been part of the deal to let him get elected.
