Watching John McCain's "body language" alone is a study in itself. Was it just me or were the news programs purposely showing him to look like a fake shell? His jerking around from the hand wave of a zombie trying to break himself free of his shackles has to be part of his PTSD syndrome. Then it's as though he's being advised in his earphone to "smile, Johnny, smile" that he then plasters on that phony grin...only to be followed by another fake wave or jerking of his eyebrows as though to simulate happiness. I don't believe I've ever seen a more stiff persona working the crowds as John McCain and it's what I do - body language.
We who do this professionally will be able to thank Mr. McCain for giving us another symdrome of predictable movement: The John McCain body language meme. Stiff as a board and as phony as hell.

Sorry, but as much as I dislike and disapproved of the Media's abdication of their critical role on the lead-up to Iraq, there is no direct comparison to Julius Streicher.
If you think there is, I think you need to go back and read the actual Nuremberg trial documents. If anyone thinks the first Nuremberg trial set the standard that propagandizing for a regime that commits war crimes is itself a war crime, you need to go back and study the case of Hans Fritzsche, who was aquitted.
It's not that simple, and it wasn't that simple even back then.
Yet the cases against the media for complicity in the lies directly leading to the propagandizing of the Iraq war are mounting. New legal precedents are set every day and it wouldn't surprise me in the least that the mainstream media become complicitious co-conspirators under the law for the video-taped prima facie evidence of their willingness to conspire and defraud the american people. All it takes is one to set a new precedent in law.
Thanks to today's ability to time and date stamped video evidence, it's going to be a much easier case to bring against the mainstream media and it's cadre of co-conspirators. Back then there was no such animal.
Today it's an entirely different story. Methinks the media is now in heap big trouble when these war crime trials ensue.

It's obvious already the Dems are heading to what is likely to be a landslide.
Are the Cons really interested in inheriting and continuing to preside over and scramble to try to manage the total disaster they created and got rich off of?
The Obama numbers indicate a critical mass movement toward an Obama landslide. The pre-polls indicate it and the exit polls will reflect it.
There is no way even with massive hacking of the election machinery this can now be accomplished without many people going to jail.
Once Obama hits the critical mass area, it's over for the Repubs. I believe this week we've reached the critical mass movement where hacking will be out of the question.
Hacking can only go undetected when it is a legitimate time with one state making the difference and having a criminal like Kenneth Blackwell as Sup. of Elections for that state - ohio in 2004. He rigged the polls through an RNC server in Chatanooga, Tenn where they also fixed the exit polls to match.
Now if McCain intends to rig this election, he'd have to have corrupt elecion supervisors in each swing state willing to risk prison sentences in order to tamper with their voting results. It ain't likely, let's put it that way.
