The estimable Barbara O'Brien at Mahablog could use some help.

Nielsen's compiled a wonderful view of the years just past, at Making Light, worth a bookmark at the least. Wish the thugs weren't trying to keep the crimes going, though. (see http://cabdrollery.blogspot.com/2009/01/becau... )

Off topic but,
Where is little Plumber Joe? Has he filed anything new from Gaza, or has he tripped quietly into the sunset? I'd go to PJ News but can't bring myself to defile by web browser.
Don't say his name out loud, he might hear you. He's probably doing legal research to see if President Obama took the oath correctly or something of equal importance.
Say what you mean. Mean what you say. But don't say it mean.
George Packer begins his column with:
"There were echoes of Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt, but President Obama uttered no words today that will be quoted in a hundred years."
Then he proceeds to quote them, thus proving himself wrong.
Not "within" a hundred years!
Bah.
You couldn't have known he is a Time Lord.
:(
So am I.

Good news about the freeze and I'm hoping sanity and the law will prevail with that lawsuit and appeal. But someone is still using "Obots"? Damn.
