This Week with Christiane Amanpour marks the passings of actor Tom Bosley, attorney James F Neal, disabled rights activist Paul S Miller, and anti-abortion activist Mildred Jefferson. In addition the Pentagon released the names of eight service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

According to iCasualties, the total number of allied soldiers killed in Iraq is now 4,744; in Afghanistan, 2.169. During this same period, Iraq Body Count lists 52 Iraqi civilians killed. In related "war on terror" news, the organization Campaign for Innocent Victims In Conflict released a report this week for under-reporting casualties in Pakistan.
