We're seeing the brutal extermination of a people that briefly brings to mind the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan from 29 years ago that saw the murder, maiming and displacement of a full third of their population. With the kind of supreme irony that only a wide palette of geopolitical history can offer, Israel in their flashbacks of the Holocaust has become akin to the Nazi party.

The unfortunate thing to realize as an American is that, basically, there is no crisis (except natural disasters) or war that has happened in the last century that some arm of the US government did not foment, whether covertly or overtly.
Eisenhower was certainly correct about the rise of the fascists and their military-industrial complex. The business of war has been very lucrative for the Bush Crime Family and their friends around the globe. This incursion by Israel is just the latest "created crisis" by which these neo-con, NWO freaks seek to dupe the people into being more afraid, and then forcing them to give up their freedom, their fortunes and, in many cases, their lives. Could there be more terrible monsters than these??

I certainly hope with all my heart that every single American politician, of any party, who has continued to stay silent and do nothing about the War Crimes, Terrorism and the breaking of the Gaza Cease-fire by ISRAEL serve extremely long prison sentences for their complicity in the mass murder being carried out by ISRAEL. And you can be sure that I will work to do what I can to see that those filthy war crimes supporters are brought to justice.

Hamas refused to extend the ceasefire. During the ceasefire, Hamas continued to rocket southern Isreal. When the ceasefire ended, Hamas had rearmed and began sending missiles into southern Israeli civilian targets with much greater frequency than in the previous six months.
For what it's worth, a majority of Gaza residents (of voting age) voted for Hamas, which has been conducting strikes on Israeli civilians presumably with the blessing of Hamas' supporters.
What, exactly, would you have Ireal do? Asking Hamas nicely to stop firing rockets doesn't seem to have worked. Rahter than invade or attempt to kill Hamas' leaders, I suppose Israel could just announce that, from now on, Israeli forces will drop a mid-sized FAE on any location from which a missle is fired into southern Israel.

Actually there is something like 300 different genes involved in the eating, digesting and waste disposal systems, and if any one of them goes haywire can result in obesity. It's not necessarily simply pushing oneself away from the table. I've seen shoe-strings with enormous appetites, and fat people who always seemed to be dieting and eating small meals to no avail.
However, with the increase in this country of junk food outlets, of diabetes and heart disease, and spiraling health costs obese people need to be encouraged to lose weight. Interesting thing is there's been studies that show junk food places seem to cluster in low-income neighborhoods, some of which lack a decent grocery store.
I tried to post the link but failed. He was defending remarks, rather harsh ones I agree but they do apply to some obese people and doctors that treat them. The guy is overweight himself so I think some took the remarks too seriously.
I lived in an area of San Diego for six months which was very low income, dare I say borderline ghetto. You are right very few supermarkets, lots of junk food. And when there was a supermarket, they gouged on staples such as Spaghetti, the cheap items a poor people eat everyday were twice as much as they were in the rural California town I had lived in before. same chain, same year.

... into these monsters hands. The first line of defense for Israel's long list of crimes against humanity is the line of argument that begins: "Well, "they" won't even recognize Israel's "right to exist."
It immediately and intentionally conjures visions of the Holocaust, and allows the increasingly gratuitous charges of anti-semitism as a follow-up defense. The question of whether Palestinians pose an existential threat to Israel is laughable. Israel possesses a military that far outclasses any combination of powers within it's region. It also maintains a nuclear arsenal. There is no existential threat to the State of Israel whatsoever.
But Israeli defenders still maintain this "argument" out of necessity, because facing an existential threat justifies any "response" to that threat.
It is also more publicly palatable than noting that "the chosen people of God" can do anything they wish when confronted with the Canaanites or any other lesser humans. After all, by current calculations the life of one Israeli Jew is roughly equivalent to more than a hundred non-Jews.

From the beginning, it announced a “special security zone” within the Gaza Strip and announced that Palestinians who enter this zone will be fired upon. There is, and only ever has been, one way to win a war of occupation: complete genocide or exile of the population. Even if Israel manages to succeed (and they certainly are trying), a "pure jewish state" won't last because of the animosity they cause in other countries. One of the biggest lies that pro-Israel mouthpieces tell is that so-called criticism of Israel is "anti-semitism", and that any anti-semitism is a result of a surge in neo-nazism, not a result of Israel's own actions.
What's really stupefying about Israel's terrorism against the Palestinians is that there was little or no anti-jewish sentiment among muslims prior to the 20th century. If muslims from other nations do commit genocide on the jews and/or nuke Israel, jews will have no one to blame but themselves.
