Pakistan - 'The Most Dangerous Country' in the World?
By Susie Madrak Tuesday Mar 24, 2009 12:00pmVia the Brave New Foundation, Democrats.com and Peace Action West, a new documentary from Robert Greenwald looks at the problem with expanding the war in Afghanistan and the likely effect on Pakistan:
The war in Afghanistan and its potentially catastrophic impact on Pakistan are complex and dangerous issues, which further make the case why our country needs a national debate on this now - starting with congressional oversight hearings.
Sign the petition to help make hearings a critical first step and then send this trailer to all of your friends and family. Imagine someone like Andrew Bacevich having the ear of Congress as he explains the perils of war. Now imagine a national dialogue filled with rational, thoughtful discussions on the issues surrounding Afghanistan. That is our goal.

say is true.
I know what they say is true.
Why the fuck doesn't Obama?
Pakistan didn't invade Afghanistan. The nation that did that is the most dangerous country in the world. Well maybe second most dangerous because with the new government in Israel I think they may take the title away from America.
But yeah Americas actions in Afghanistan are a threat to stability in the area just like some of us said way way back in 2001.
the "government." Mebbe they wanna vitiate a little of Lieberman's power, but in any case, it puts Labor in there with the fascisti.
NY Times: Released on Web, a Film Stays Fresh
The activist filmmaker Robert Greenwald has tried for years to speed up the production process for his documentaries. Now, he says, he is creating one he can release almost immediately, in stages.
Mr. Greenwald is showing “Rethink Afghanistan,” a skeptical view of America’s war strategies, in five parts on the Internet, with the implied hope that it will contribute to the foreign policy debate. With the first two parts of the film already online, he arrived in Afghanistan on Sunday to conduct more interviews for what he calls his first “real-time documentary.”

Well, behind the US + Israel, I'll agree.
US is the MOST DANGEROUS country.
Who else has the ability to annihilate the world with the push of a button?
Spreading 'democracy' everywhere is a dangerous business, ya know.
and water-board it.
US remains a puppet state of Israel, it will remain the most dangerous country on the planet.
Oh goodie goodie, I smell pentagon propaganda, well we're gonna have to tighten our belts further and spend 75% of our budget to continue the genocide. You know we have to keep America safe, which 1 of our boarders is against Pakistan again?
This war has never been about fighting terrorism so of course this is what is happening. This is all about the proposed oil pipeline that's supposed to run from the Caspian Sea, through Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan and exit at the mouth of the Arabian Sea.
One of Obama's chief foreign policy experts is Zbigniew Brzezinski who wrote about all of this in his book The Grand Chessboard.
never mind!

Try three words next.
i wouldn't give a fig for the stability of the govenment or the constution of pakistan. barring them, the only "bulwarks" protecting the pakistan nuclear arsenal are the intelligence community and the military. it isn't even truely known how compromised either of those institutions are by enimies of the state, or even if they are working at cross-purposes against each other.
pakistan's a nuclear armed mess.
Yet, what is not complicated is that the issue is not, and never was, Pakistan. Whether or not Pakistan will be allegedly further destabilized is not the issue. The issue is somehow ridding the US military-industrial complex of its power and influence throughout the world, and its power and influence are heavily dependent upon exercises like the war on terra', which IMHO was caused and/or created by Pakistan. In other words, Pakistan's oligarch loves the fact that it can suck at the US teet for years to come. That was the point of 9/11. I know that some say Pakistan is at risk, but that is a bunch of hooey. The so-called Islamists (if ever there were an ethnic slur, this is one) will never get their hands on the nukes? Why? Because the Islamists work for the US military industrial complex. I know that sounds crazy, but that is the intended effect.
