In an episode from earlier this week, after playing a disturbing montage of all the hateful things coming out of the McCain camp, Jon Stewart wonders how McCain can possibly regain control of the monster he's unleashed. Considering Michelle Bachmann's Nazi turn on Hardball yesterday, it looks like a snowballing issue.

""There's a little bit of a problem here: Any mad scientist will tell you there's a point where your excitement over the monster you've created coming to life damps down a little bit. It's usually around the time that monster starts breaking all the sh*t in your lab."

And you haven't heard your state GOP Chair in Virginia, Jeffrey Frederick, giving talking points to 30 of your field-operatives heading out to canvass voters in Gainesville, Virginia...

With a reporter present, telling them to try to forge a connection between Barack Obama and Osama Bin Laden - to emphasize bombings and terrorism.

And you haven't heard those volunteers, your volunteers Senator McCain, shout back "and he won't salute the flag" and "we don't even know where Senator Obama was really born."

Senator McCain -- these people are speaking for you!
