Bob Bennett offended by Wolf Blitzer over Brother Bill

A picture named Bob-Bennet.jpgBob Bennett offended by Wolf Blitzer over Brother Bill

Yes, Obviously Wolf didn't clear the question with brother Bob about brother Bill's latest remark. Transcript

BLITZER: Have you discussed this issue with him?

BENNETT: Well, no, and, Wolf, let me say, I am rather disappointed at
you for not telling me you would ask me about that. This was about Judy
Miller, and I think that's a courtesy you could have extended to me.

BENNETT: I didn't know that at all, Wolf. In the past you've always been very straight with me. And I'm honest with you and I'm offended by that.

BLITZER: You are a good lawyer and a good brother and a good friend. Thanks very much for joining us.

It's probably fairly common to tell your guests what questions you might be asking or the subject that will be discussed, but it wasn't out of line for Wolf to bring it up in the interview. The outrage, oh-the outrage.

GS: Did she believe that that letter was an attempt to steer her testimony? BB: Well I...I wouldn't say the answer to that was yes, but it was very troubling. Our reaction when we got that letter, both Judy's and mine, was that was a very stupid thing to put in a letter, because it just complicated the situation. It was a very foolish thing to put in a letter.

"According to Judy's article, much of her questioning before the grand jury was focused on that letter. Both Judy and Bennett seem to be tapdancing through landmines as they struggle to keep from giving a straight answer about whether she thought Scooter was trying to influence her testimony....read on"
