Gooey minded liberals vote for Democrats by the legion and look what that gets them!

I use the term liberal as Marx and John Maynard Keynes used it.

Study the record of the lawsuits that the duopoly bring against anyone that goes against them.

The Greens or Nader, or anyone.

It won't matter who comes along, the Corporate Duopoly will attempt to shut them out.

So much for our imagined democracy, Ralph Nader the person is not the question.

It is the question of democracy.

It is an illusion.

»Howard Dean: Kill the Senate Bill

You know that if a health-care bill does pass, Joe Lieberman will take full credit for it. He'll be out there saying that it shows how incredible our system of government is. The media -- who love Lieberman and consider him a real independent soul who was forced out of the Dem party because of the dirty hippies -- will praise Joe's leadership on getting a bill passed.

This is Obama's bill. Read Glenn Greenwald today here

If they do pass this piece of crap put the blame on Obama AND Lieberman.

»Lieberman will try and take credit for the passing of a "Progressive" health-care reform bill, as he calls it

You need to do some homework on Nader, and the grand duopoly.

The Democrats and Republicans are two factions of the same Corporate Oligarchy. Ralph Nader has fought the powers that be since the early sixties with great success.

They have tried again and again to destroy him. They never could but they did manage to misinform a great number of gooey minded liberals into hating one of the only ones out there who could never be bought.

Look at the venal nature of the Democrats, lord what a bunch of swine.

But there are a few other greats in the department of critics, Chomsky, Parenti etc.

But Nader after the Clinton treachery decided to run himself. I doubt if he will run again, maybe for the Senate, between he and Bernie Sanders there would be a renewed interest.

Q - What does Nader do between elections?

A - He fights bad ballot laws in lawsuits with the very well funded DNC (and RNC) on ballot access etc etc.

Excellent Ralph Nader interview from March 27, 2009: DNC lawsuit, etc.

I voted for one Democrat, my state Rep Alma Wheeler Smith who is far enough to the left to be all alone. There was a Republican who got about 20% of the vote which is typical.

That is the sort of little district we have here.

Other than that Socialist, Green and of course NADER.

Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.), among the most vocal supporters of the public option, said it would be unfair to blame Lieberman for its apparent demise. Feingold said that responsibility ultimately rests with President Barack Obama and he could have insisted on a higher standard for the legislation.

“This bill appears to be legislation that the president wanted in the first place, so I don’t think focusing it on Lieberman really hits the truth,” said Feingold. “I think they could have been higher. I certainly think a stronger bill would have been better in every respect.”

Backdoor bailout for Citigroup of $38 billion. May the happy rabbits put that in their Xmas stockings.

Where I come from, you can fool me once, but I'll be damned if you can fool me twice.

He said he would fight for FISA, the FISA fight came and he turned 180° to run with the Fascists.

Anyone who was paying attention should have learned everything they needed to know about Obama.

I did.

Very nice but the Democrats are not NEARLY so complex. They cut right to minimum much quicker than you have them do here.

but with Chomsky - Nader that was too long to be verified so here we are.

In September '08 we had a financial coup d'Etat and the coup plotters are quite happy with the results.

And we can't forget about Hurricane Katrina. We witnessed firsthand how conservatives protected our country during a natural disaster.

We fight as progressives because we have to. America is not a Bill Kristol academic exercise. It's full of real Americans who are worth fighting for as they try to survive. If not for us, who will speak for them?

It is definitely a good idea to give the term Liberal a rest.

They never meant to have anything even close to genuine health care reform.

After 911 I went from being black to being an American…

After Katrina I went back to being black…

Recounted by George Carlin, link in my comment here

It should never be forgotten that in 2000, Katherine Harris the Florida Secretary of State had a list of 48,000 people who not permitted to vote because they were erroneously said to have criminal records.

Those were black folks on that list. On purpose and that election was stolen.

And people want to blame Nader for THAT, I don't think so.
