When even the New York Times editorial board says it's time to shut down the Benghazi committee, it's time. Their statement followed Rep. Kevin McCarthy boasting to Sean Hannity that the Benghazi select committee was part of a strategy to erode Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
“Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right?” Mr. McCarthy said, adding, “But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today?”
The Republicans have spent over four million dollars on this partisan conspiracy-mongering and we need to tell them to stop. If you've had enough of the whole charade, join us in telling Chairman Gowdy to shut it down.
