One of the great things about punk rock was that it was about breaking the rules. Then it started have it's own rule book which was not so great. Like everything else, it was expected to be done a certain way, look at certain way and sound a certain way. It seemed to become a lot of things that it was rallying against.

Life Stinks doesn't care about some rigid guidelines. From song to song, the band delves into something different from the last one sounded like. Different sounds, different influences. Sometimes leaning toward a twisted and blissful pop song and then next a gnarled and thorny clobber of post punk, this San Francisco Bay Area band records make for an enjoyably weird experience.
