Oops, I got myself so worked up I just went and donated to Hillary's campaign. :) And sent them an email to the same effect.

She should fit into the estate tax death exemption if nothing else. Kenny Mitchell took out the policy for his families protection against improper bank activity. Farm families cry about this same scenario all the time. What gives? A $100,000 policy for a $120,000 debt leaves someone liable to pay $20,000 if they want to keep the said property. Right? If Daddy leaves a note on the table saying that he owed $500,000 in taxes unpaid and the property he owns upon his death is worth $500,000 why should the family get to dodge payment of taxes? And keep possession of the property? Because Daddy didn't tell the family that he didn't own the property makes it just to not pay property tax?
