Originally the news was only 15 minutes each evening. If something happened during the day radio let people know. TV news was only the big stories.
Reasonable people need to learn to argue effectively all by themselves. If you get angry, or resort to insults - you've lost the argument.
At least the Marx Brothers were funny. Where is Charlie Chaplin and "The Great Dictator" when we need them?
"That he is even considered a viable candidate to be our President, let alone a primary front runner is a true indictment of our electorate."
That is the sad truth about the willful ignorance of GOP voters......the more outrageous he is the more they love him.....
Prediction about the future GOP candidate chess game:
At some point Trump will bow out, don't know what his excuse will be just yet, or if he will have been pushed out....but nonetheless, to save Trump's precious ego, he will then "anoint" and endorse his protege'. Trump will enjoy being powerful kingmaker almost as if he was President.
Said protege', will then make a power move, and will have been waiting in the wings to scoop up all of Trump's supporters ("fans" as Trump calls them).
Said protege, will cloak his true racism/facism somewhat in softer rhetoric in order to garner support from more moderates in the GOP.
Protege will seem more reasonable and not as extreme as Trump and electable by the GOP.
My fear: said protege...will be the nightmare that is Ted Cruz. Notice how Cruz has sort of defended Trump and not challenged him in any public forum. That's a clever power play. He is waiting for his move. And that is frightening.
