**hums** You do realize that if we want change we have to have a president that can do it and a congress (which is elected 2 yrs later) to help him do it, right?
He didn't say "Elect me, I will do it all myself."
He DID say "I am willing to put through all of this, but I need help, we need a congress that will work with us."
Also?? A journey of a thousands miles starts with the first step.
A bit different. The kid was walking away and didn't try to draw a gun on the cops after a high speed chase and saying repeatedly during the standoff that he would not be taken alive. Beyond that, everyone who surrendered passively is still alive, living in taxpayer subsidized housing. Had LaVoy done that, he'd have three hots and a cot this very day.
You know what is funny. When Kennedy ran he said "We will get to the moon." It was impossible. We didn't even have the "group" of scientists to even tell him whether it was possible or not.
Guess what? He was elected in a landslide, AND we got to the Moon.
Can't never tried to be triumphant.
Only failures never try.
I would rather have someone in the presidency who won't bend over to the corruption then someone who will triangulate to bipartisan efforts to over turn what we already have, or to create new crap that will push us further to the right.
