They vote Republican and a great m,any worship a demon.
Right now: "Wild Bill Hickok: The Man and His Myth" Joseph G. Rosa
Next up: "The self-splitting atom: the history of the Rutherford-Soddy collaboration" T.J. Trenn
Not sure after that.
None of those statistics above startled me. They all have the ring of truth to them. The first job I ever had was at a book store when I was 13. There are so few book stores now, One of my favorites closed last month. They have disappeared from the shopping malls and so have I. When I go to the one remaining Barnes and Noble in the area I can't help but notice the majority of people are in the cafe and few patrons go to the book store's registers to buy anything.
That 57% of new books are not read to completion doesn't strike me as odd, my personal completion percentage is even lower. I'd guess I don't read to the end between 70 - 80% of the books I start but I buy a lot of books.
Right now I'm reading The Republican Brain by Chris Mooney, and Lolita by Nabokov. I bought them used.
I sent an email and told him he is missed and to please check in.
