Yes, it can be very confusing! I am glad C&L has started flat saying "this is satire" on their satire posts, I honestly could not tell on some of them, especially without the "entertainment" section cue, that I wasn't catching.
And #1 favorite item to steal to score heroin? Why, gunz, of course...
From USA today - "Several Big Cities See Homicide Rates Surge", dated July 10, 2015Chicago’s total number of homicides stood at 203 as of June 28 of this year. That is total, BTW, not sorted by race, so there is a good chance other races can claim some of these killings. That is a bit short of the numbers you name. Post a link to where you get this statistic or quite repeating yourself. Please.
From The Guardian, "The Counted" Illinois is not the worst state this year for homicide by police, ranking 42 out of 51 per capita (or 13 of 51 total) as of now (September 3, 2015). In Chicago there are three homicides by cops noted, although there are also three or four that show up nearby on the map. I am not familiar enough with Chicago to guess which of these areas would be considered suburbs.
I also doubt that the "BLM movement and this crowd" really want you to focus on theSE shootings from The Guardians list – they (we) are more likely to call your attention to, for example, Mr. Eric Garner, who was publicly executed by the cops on the street corner for having cigarettes. He had just broken up a fight, reportedly, but the cops got a pass because he was known to have sold loose cigarettes. Tax dodger! Choke him, quick, kill him! Tax dodging is only for corporate people or very rich ones, didn’t he know! *stop for breath*
Just one example of the shootings that have been in the news for, well, since cell phones started recording video. Calling the cops has now gotten a reputation as being a really bad idea, unless you happen to own the cops or be one of them.
"The passengers on that French train are surely grateful that some manliness remains indomitable." and UNARMED!
How Republican of him.
They love to put a special condition or seven on things to make truth of anything they want to believe.
Remember Bush kept us safe (as long as you don't count 9/11).
