"I've always held the rule that Republicans start in a credibility deficit especially on race"..Says dim, overpaid-to-the-point-of-vulgarity white cow.
Kasich is a Koch-controlled monster, like Walker. Trump is his very own monster- even he can't control himself. I'm waiting for him to self-destruct one of these days. It should be an amazing event.
Those are pudding abs.
If.... the kid was on PCP, he probably was not thinking too clearly and if he was on PCP he was probably very, very hyperactive in his storming amygdala and as a result, he probably did not even know where he really was (nice wide path, not hemmed in, like over on that sidewalk), did not know what the police were saying (if he could even recognize them as police... could be the space aliens... flashing lights... noises), became scared of whatever was bouncing around in his brain with all the stimulus and pulled out the knife, because it was his "safety" crutch and he was used to having it close, as he lived with fear on a daily basis, noting his locale and his conditioning to his environment. It's PCP, you should try it.... It's a very fucked up, often impure, street drug with no legitimate pharmaceutical use used years ago as a "hog tranquilizer" (Bull shit!)Now, a well trained police force would make damn sure it's officers had adequate knowledge of mental imbalance/ drug intoxication/ strange behavior to approach people exhibiting such behavior with: A. adequate personal safety/ scene safety procedures written in f***ing stone, with no deviations and, B. Proper force to bring the subject into compliance for questioning without resorting to deadly force except as a last resort. Now, who the hell is at fault? The idiot that pulled his weapon and discharged it into a subject with a knife, who was acting, at most, erratically, but to a reasonable man, not threateningly, but somewhat defensively, as he was blinded by the lights, the noise and the excitement that was primarily in his brain, which is and should be obvious, to a trained first responder, noting his level of hyperactivity. They ought to make every cop undergo drug intoxication training. Let them understand, in a most visceral way, how PCP works on your brain. It's nasty stuff.... then they would actually know what they would be dealing with when they encounter it out in the real world. A kid is dead, again, unnecessarily. He was high, could have been dangerous, but could have been "de-escalated" if the poorly trained, poorly led officers of that precinct had had adequate training on how to handle such a situation that is often encountered everyday in America without resulting in the use of deadly force. Pepper spray, a taser, a beanbag gun, or a myriad of other non-deadly force options to subdue or just get him to a safer place than the middle of a busy night time street.
What the hell do you expect from FUX News? How about a decent discussion on why so many of the police forces in these states of confusion don't reflect, demographically, the citizens they are sworn to protect and serve....whereas, there are plenty of police departments that do and don't have as many incidents of this type. Why is that?
In reality since they were some of the first to come here there weren't anyone for them to persecute. That came later.
