I grew up in Belleville, right across the Mississippi River from St. Louis. Went to high school and college in St. Louis, worked in St. Louis until 1995, when I moved to Schaumburg....couldn't stand it there....I called it "one big strip mall." Then I worked in Europe for 4 years, came back and lived in the city of Chicago for 5 years before moving back to the St. Louis area. My parents, notably my dad, were having some health issues, so I decided to move back.
