You'll get no argument over this from me.
Seems to have the support of the AFL/CIO.
You're assuming over 300 million people are armed. While there are over 300 million guns throughout the country, the number is not 300 million gun owners. That would mean more people own more than one gun. Most people who own guns have a shot gun for home defense. maybe a hand gun of some kind. Then you get to hunters. Mostly rifles. Then you come to the gun nuts. They feel they are entitled to any weapon they want. Those are the ones who will get the ap rounds. They are the one obsessed with guns . You know what I'm talking about. Gun nuts. Holmes may have not used them, but he wouldn't need too. The velocity of those rounds are strong enough to pierce everything except armor. He was pretty meticulous in his planning. He showed a great deal of thought planning this. That tells me he didn't just take any old ammo for this. He planned it all out. He did research. He actually educated himself on the ammunition. And he chose some that would do what he planned. AP or not, he knew what he was doing. He's not crazy. He's not insane. And it doesn't matter what Maddow said. It seems very important to you. More than the lives lost. That's your problem. When you want to see real lies, tune into Fox. Then again, you already do don't you?
Seems the AFL/CIO doesn't seem to share your aversion to prevailing wages.
Studies have shown that workers who are paid the prevailing wage are more productive, and higher productivity can lower construction costs without lowering wages. Prevailing wage laws benefit blue-collar workers and their communities by:Encouraging training.Lowering the rate of injuries.Promoting health care coverage.Minimizing disruption to local labor markets.Ensuring that minority and female workers receive prevailing wages.Encouraging their participation in apprenticeship programs.
so according to you the AFL/CIO supports "code for "screw American workers who want to be paid what the market will bear"?
From what I could tell DuBose started his car and that is when the cop shot him.Expanding on the issue as gump states is a question of proportion. At the time of the incident the worst offenses committed by DuBose were motor vehicle in nature. There is no way to justify deadly force.
