Do you think he has a chance?
Perhaps the other Republicans will each burn out, leaving Kasich the last candidate standing? After all, it sorta happened that way with Romney in Election 2012.
It's always worth voting. Why give them what they want by giving up your right to vote? I figure if we're going down, go down swinging.

People like Donald Trump prove that it doesn't take much brains to do this. A strong sense of aggressive self-interest will do.
"Since the GOP allowed to let the far right wing fringe take over their party for fear of what Obama represented in 2009..."
John Amato must be very young. The GOP allowed to let the far right wing fringe take over their party in 1980, and have never looked back. Although I believe the far right wing of the country began asserting their power in November 1963, and it wasn't successfully politicized until 1980.

Growing up working-class in Red States, I once believed the fiction that those higher up on the social scale must be smart, that they must have earned their place in society. Working people sometimes put one another down by saying "Oh yeah? Well, if you're so smart, why ain't you rich?"
Perhaps more of us will wise up enough to look upward to our "betters" and ask a more relevant question: "Since you're so rich, why aren't you smart?"
