ok, debate is on....Hillary tried to get out of a simple yes or no if Obama could win the general, and Stephanopolous reasked, and Hillary said "yes, yes, yes". Stephie just asked Obama the same question, and he said "Absolutely" without running around avoiding answering the question.
Exactly why Obama has a strong following - he'll answer a question! Who'da thunk???
THANK GOD she finally said she would support Obama if he becomes the nominee... that was the only worry I had. If her supporters go to Obama along with Clinton, Novemeber will be a shoo-in.
I'm actually impressed with the quality of the questions (tough but fair). I find myself paying attention to Obama when he speaks whereas I just tune Clinton out (yap yap yap). BTW, I'm female and pushing 40, and have never felt an affinity toward her just because she is a women (btw, thought her husband was a great prez until this election cycle).
Will either one of them be calling for the immediate and total withdrawal of U.S. forces from that abattoir in Iraq? Will the Democrats make sure that the bloated military budget be significantly reduced in this country? Will Clinton or Obama demand that Bush and Cheney be impeached for their high Crimes and Misdemeanors? Will both of these candidates make sure that universal single payer health care system be considered not a privilege but a right in this country?
The chances of hitting a multi state lottery are far greater than wondering if the above stated inquires will ever become a reality. Far easier to wonder if Obama is an elitist or how many shots Clinton will take followed by a beer.
This is not a debate, its a justification for mudslinging.
It's not a debate. It's a lame forum, set up to showcase the pretend 'choices' the corporate overlords are pretending to let us have. Then they'll cheat and say McGrampa won, because he's proven he's the guy they can push around.
Wright again? Give me a break. Talk about being in someone's pocket. A significant chunk of your 90 minutes on the final debate is bullshit sabotage questions?
Rev Wright said the same things Rev Martin Luther King Jr said. Why dont people start attacking MLK too?
Because he is dead...... If he was alive today and was spewing hatred he would be criticized as well..... just like Jessie Jackson and the others are criticized
Clinton's going to dig her own grave by blathering on about who Obama associates with because she will be asked the same questions.....and there IS videotape when she was in the White House as FIRST LADY (not elected office)

IMHO great presidents don't enact trade policies that punish workers. NAFTA. And great presidents don't throw women and children under the bus with draconian measures that hurt welfare mothers and their children.
And great presidents don't fuck the help.
Wright again? Give me a break. Talk about being in someone's pocket. A significant chunk of your 90 minutes on the final debate is bullshit sabotage questions?
What a joke.
Ironically, Wright was right, he was in the Marines to boot. Unlike Clinton who has been wrong on just about any important issue and made up all that shit about sniper fire.
Okay, I'm strugglin' here. Exactly when and where is this debate suppose to be on? I can't find it flipping, nor on my program listings.
This debate will be history if I find it on TV. Any idea as to what channel it is on?
I too can't find it. I thought everything was advertised on cable. No wonder I hardly ever watch the tube. What a waste of time.

And vice versa. Maybe we should just start getting use to the sound of it: President McCain. President McCain. President McCain.
Fine by me.
Thanks for your sour grapes point of view and for being part of the problem, not the solution.
I feel like I lost a friend in the Clintons. She continues to reinforce her critics by being shrill and far from trustworthy. I once welcomed a second Clinton era, but she lacks and semblance of any genuine conviction that her husband displayed in his runs for pres. I would vote for her if she somehow holds the party hostage and gets the nomination but I am hoping this time I get to vote FOR a candidate in a general election rather than against one (McSenile.) Those (Dems) who actually care will vote against McSame even if they have to hold their nose doing it.
BTW: Watching CNN right now and I must say that Candy Crowley is an idiot.
This is the way Obama is going to be treated the entire election. He's not going to have McCain as his opponent. He's going to have the entire MSM.. as I suspect, will Hillary. They will continue with references to Wright, they will ask him why his underwear isn't red, white and blue. Meanwhile, McCain will get donuts, and nothing but love...and frankly, this election, which seemed so certain to me before, now seems like something very uncertain. IF Obama does survive this, and goes on to the White House, I hope his first move is re re-regulate the media. We are falling completely out of touch with reality.
I wish Hillary would drop out already, and give Obama the ability to focus on the real opponent. She can't win without manipulating the delegates.. I think we've had enough electoral manipulations in this country.
HOW'S EVERYONE LIKING ABC'S IDEA OF A "CONSTITUTIONAL" DEBATE??
30 MINUTES IN AND THEY'RE NOT DONE ATTACKING OBAMA ON WRIGHT OR HIS BITTER REMARK--
30 FUCK*** SOLID MINUTES ON NOTHING BUT BULLSH**.
LET'S SEE HOW MUCH TIME BOSNIA GETS..
Because those things are MUCH more important to the nation and the lives of the American people than:
The financial crisis
The collapse of housing values in the US and around the world
Afghanistan
Health care
Torture
The declining value of the US Dollar
Education
Trade
Pakistan
Energy
Immigration
The decline of American manufacturing
The Supreme Court
The burgeoning world food crisis.
Global warming
China
The attacks on organized labor and the working class
Terrorism and al Qaeda
Civil liberties and constraints on government surveillance
...to the A lways B roadcasting for C onservatives network anyway.

The flag used to be upheld as a sacred symbol that represented unity in diversity, the right to disagree, and embracing the empathic imagination for the element of tolerance and human rights.
Questioning why someone is not wearing the flag is an infringement on personal freedom. It begins to become "agenda based" and our flag is not supposed to be agenda based. The one main agenda that our flag represents has been in peril. It has been used to represent mostly one party's agenda.
Forefathers took much of the democratic principles from American Indians who believed that it was very important never to have a "first strike" until you "sit with your enemies". Until there is attempt at conflict resolution. Because human beings are more than reactionary animals. We have to determine peace as the agenda not focus on what kind of man we are, but if we are kind men. We need to have respect as a birthright for all creatures under the domain of mankind.
I was born at West Point. My parents are buried there. I was in the Army Reserves. I dearly understand and feel patriotism. Aside from a NASA Space suit or uniform, I cannot think of any garment upon which the flag is necessary right at this moment. Now a days the flag has been pushed to represent one ideation to the extent that our country has almost lost its two party system.
While I am very proud to be an American it is not necessary for me to demonstrate my patriotism by the clothing I wear or any symbols upon them. In fact it we have degraded the symbol of our flag. There was a time when the way the flag was handled meant something. When ceremony was meaningful. Now I have seen ladies getting the flag painted on their toe nails for a barbeque party. I have seen flags on shopping bags encouraging shopping. The flag was to represent democracy not Capitalism. I have seen flags on clothing and driving around town on pick up trucks declaring "my way or the highway", "might is right" with no tolerance for intelligent diplomacy what so ever. People are wearing the flag on their pants.
It is clear that these days wearing the flag bears no determination on one's patriotism.
I bet at no other time has any other presidential candidate in history has been asked such a question.
My god, Hillary Clinton is mopping up the floor with Barack Obama. He looks and sounds utterly clueless compared to her.
If it weren't so obvious that the Senators and Congressmen who have endorsed Obama are simply lusting over his donation base for their own Congressional elections they would now look like the dumbest hacks on two feet to have endorsed him over Clinton.
And the Party insiders/activists/caucus-goers who supported Obama are probably conjuring up alibis for where they were instead of those caususes that gave Obama his tenuous lead in delegates so far.
I really hope Obama goes on to win this thing and beats McSame in Nov. But if he doesn't, I plan to stay home in Nov., and I hope that McSame wallops the heck out of Hillary into a quiet retirement so that Obama can come back in 2012 and finally be the president that we all deserve!!

Whoever planned this debate should be barred from Television forever! It was a total disgrace! No substance at all---no substance! What does a flag pin have to do with the issues? We have a crumbling economy, War in Iraq, rising gas prices, people losing their homes, families turning to food stamps because the economy is so bad and these morons of a moderator question whether Rev Wright loves America! How pathetic! And while these moderators are barred from TV---run them out of town! Dumb stupid idiots! This was a let down for the American people! How can anyone with any sane thoughts at all let Sean Hannity feed them questions for a debate! Someone's head need to roll over this! Barack is not accountable for what every walking moron thinks or says! Fire George & Charlie now!
Obama spends the first few minutes of this debate getting a fraction of the kind of scrutiny and tough questioning over side-show issues that Hillary Clinton has been fielding from the media for at least 16 years and his supporters are crying bloody murder.
Personally, I think they should have asked Obama why he thinks the mainstream media has seen to it that Hillary Clinton's truthfulness ratings are so low in the polls when she has consistantly had the most "True" statements and fewest "False/Pants on Fire!" statements attributed to her on the campaign trail according to PolitiFact.com's Truth-O-Meter while both he and John McCain have consistantly had fewer "True" statements and more "False/Pants on Fire!" statements attributed to them.
That might have set him off on a stuttering and stammerng jag that could still be in progress this minute.
Olbermann went on the warpath for "the Clintons" the moment they dared to object to MSNBC's precious David Shuster for saying they "pimped out" Chelsea and he got suspended for a few days for it.
At least that's partially why he's doing it. A bigger part might be that he has discovered the same thing about "the Clintons" that every media outlet learned over the past dozen years and none so well as Faux News Channel; that no political family sells more print or attracts more viewers than "the Clintons" when they are being bashed in a media scandal, real or fabricated.
Olbermann has seen his ratings increase since he has gone on his Clinton-bashing warpath. Just like Faux News Channel's did in the 90s.
BITTER TROLL ALERT
Boy Who Cries Troll Alert!
He's Not A Troll Alert!
And it sucks that even such a shitty "debate" can cause such a controversy which degrades into a fight between Clinton pricks and Obama dicks.
What a disgraceful performance by these two so-called newspeople. Almost an hour of tabloid journalism questioning before we ever got to anything Americans are really interested in. Gibson and Stephanopoulos epitomize all that is wrong with the MSM today. The whole event looked like a right wing talking points hit job orchestrated by Fixed News Channel. I always knew Gibson was a right wing tool. But Stephanopoulos, actually using questions from Sean Hannity of all people? And about William Ayers?? ABC needs to fire everyone at the News operation from top down. And while your at it please apologize to America for wasting so much of our time on nonsense.
As if the REST of the media has been talking about "the issues" instead of the tabloid stuff since the last debate. Watch the rest of the media slam ABC for not talking about the exact same healthcare/Iraq/economy topics they covered in all 20 of the previous debates.
Did anyone honestly NOT know after the first 20 debates what Hillary and Barack's positions were on those "issues"? If not, then please don't vote this year.
The choice between these two has not hinged on their position on "the issues" for weeks and weeks. If ABC had simply rehashed their campaign rhetoric on "the issues" instead of addressing the stories that have appeared to be moving poll numbers since the last debate, they would have accomplished nothing. It's a joke that other media outlets are slamming ABC for addressing the very tabloid topics that have occupied 99.99% of THEIR broadcast hours over the last several weeks.
I think the Obama supporters are just upset because these moderators wouldn't let him weasel away from tough followup questions on his Wright problem and they had the nerve to mention the one topic other than "guns and religion" that he said people in small-town America cling to out of bitterness and frustration; their racial bigotry.
The media has tried hard to limit their reference to Obama's "bitter" comment to the relatively easy-to-explain-away issues of guns and religion and ignore that Obama also said they cling to their anti-immigration feelings.
Uncomfortable to hear the media actually mention that part of it out loud too, wasn't it? He was due.

If what you're looking for is a lot of stupid questions about non-issues, well -- I guess you got what you wanted, now -- go lay down and lick your nuts. THE END!

Well, now that Obama's had his "comeuppance" I assume you won't ever be spouting the ridiculous Obama gets a free pass meme again.
By the way, Obama's supporters aren't "upset because these moderators wouldn't let him weasel away from tough followup questions on his Wright problem". They're upset because this is as big of a non-issue as the flag pin. (Or the sniperfire). If you can't see that, then you're part of what's wrong with America.

there is no question that last night’s “debate” was a debacle. George and charlie accomplished exactly what they wanted to do. by focusing on lapel pins and the preacher, they trivialized what could have been and should have been out last chance to scrutinize these two candidates.
so who is to blame: the two media whores who are only concerned with ratings or rising up the network ladder. no, they are what they are. i blame both hillary and obama. as soon as they saw direction of the “debate” the two of them should have jointly walked off stage, leaving the hosts with gaping mouths and questions of “wot happened’ and two hours of emptiness to fill.
what a statement that would have made rather than what ultimately transpired. they both would have been my heroes.
Get real. Obama's supporters and the Free-Ride-For-Obama mainstream media wouldn't spend 10 seconds whining today if the debate moderators had spent the entire 90 minutes probing how Hillary Clinton could possibly have forgotten that monumental "greeting ceremony" in Tuzla 12 years ago and why she didn't KNOW her plane hadn't in fact flown all that close to the hills where sniper fire routinely emanted after she had apparently been told it had.
Your candidate looked like the classic deer caught in the headlights when someone in mainstream media finally dared to ask him an uncomfortable followup question about the yokel comment and his America-hating friends and poltical supporters. Deal with it.
I thought the debate was a debacle. As an independent who isn't sure who I want to vote for I wanted an opportunity to hear about issues. The first hour was an insult to anyone with a working brain. I'm concerned about the price of gas, the recession, the 100 year war in Iraq, the housing crisis. Call me crass, but lapel pins, aging hippie terrorists, lunatic preachers and bittergate are great issues for you political wonks who have no life...but for those of us who don't have tons of time to play political games, I really want to hear the issues discussed. Who wears a flag pin isn't gonna have a bearing one whether I have a job in a few month, get it?????
The real loser of this debate, in my mind, was the American citizen. It once again demonstrated that media and economic elites in this nation think that the US voter is a brain dead moron who is fixated on drama filled issues that have no real bearing on their day to day life. I hope if nothing else, that in this election, the people start to take the process back, away from the elites.
And if this election is actually dominated by debates over preachers and flag pins, then we really deserve to become a second rate nation owned wholly by China and Saudi Arabia.
Don't worry too much, people. Chances are very good the pro-Obama/anti-Clinton media spinners can make sure this doesn't hurt Obama in the Pa. primary and ONLY hurts Clinton.
They've got the Sunday Morning talkies and all day Monday to see to it.
We should have the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars host and moderate the Debates. This is still perhaps the most respected non-agenda based research institution. Our debates should not be moderated by those who represent media moguls.
This debate was poorly choreographed. The candidates best intelligent remarks were at the end. If ABC wanted to show a more personal side, it could have been a trailer afterwards.
Population Action International suggested that in order to survive, we all must find a common goal ASAP. A democracy needs two parties to check for oversights so that Capitalism doesn't destroy human rights or the environment in its wake. If democracy followed the Golden Rule, it would not mean "He who has the most gold rules"; nor "Do one to others before they do one to you".
Commentaries about what church leaders have to say about anything should remain in the sacred space of each person's heart, between themselves and Creator. Not for public discussion. People who attend churches ought to follow their hearts and know that in America we have the right to worship as we see fit, and people who go to church ought not be confined to one church either. Truth is one, but many are the ways. Churches are like restaurants. One nourishes the soul, the other the body and senses. There are many kinds of foods for many types of people. If you don't like what is being served, you have the right to go elsewhere.
God knows who is destroying His creation! Maybe that is why our dollar is falling. It might say In God We Trust, but does God trust us?
• 80% of the original forests are gone
• 75% of global fisheries are maxed out
• 40% of our water is undrinkable
• We are 5% of the population using 30% of the world's resources
• We cut 2000 trees a minute in the Amazon
etc.etc.etc. so many important issues.
How do we herald our spirits to cope and address these issues?
Even President Bush's April 14th, 2007 speech addressed the consumer issue:
We have a "petro-chemical" addiction and we need to focus on sustainable and alternative commodities.
What kind of apology could we say to make amends to the world?
(Lord have mercy!)
For the record, Barack was not asked if he loved the flag or not. He was asked why he did not wear the flag. This could have been used to mention the need to heal the schism of the two party system. The flag has lost its dignity and is now worn on everything from toe nails to derrieres, shopping bags to bathing suits. One party ought never to declare the use of the flag to represent their agendas. The flag was a symbol to represent our nation of tolerance and listening to each other; Francis Scott Key wrote about the star spangled banner that represented democracy not capitalism . Betsy Ross is rolling in her grave.
Poor Obama. Did he honestly think he was going to be able to spend 37 uninterrupted, unchallenged minutes in a MONOLOGUE on national television explaining away the one serious negative media coverage he got since the beginning of the campaigns (Rev. Wright) and think he had conveniently put it behind him and wouldn't have to face a few minutes in the next debate answering a few questions about it?
MSNBC, the other networks and the rest of the Obama supporters, squealing like stuck pigs over the 45 minutes ABC spent going over a few loose ends he hadn't exactly tidied up once and for all in his big speech (at least HALF of which was directed toward Hillary, btw), apparently forgot that he HAD spent 37 uninterrupted, unchallenged minutes in a MONOLOGUE on national television giving ONLY his side of the story to the American people since the last debate and that maybe, just maybe the non-O-Bots out there might like to see him deal with a few uncomfortable followup questions.
My god, if Hillary Clinton spent 37 uninterrupted, unchallenged minutes in a MONOLOGUE on national television giving ONLY her side of the story every time the media threw a negative spin on her words (or outright CHANGED them) or those of her associates, she wouldn't have time to do anything else!
And you can bet your last dollar the moderators of the next debate wouldn't go easy on her on the premise that she had "answered" those questions already.
Rev Wright said the same things Rev Martin Luther King Jr said. Why dont people start attacking MLK too?
Because MLK has been long death, and white folk have done their darnest to sanitize the fellow. How quickly we forget that right until his death, MLK was in the top watch enemies list of many federal agencies.
I'm watching it on abc.com, is what I am watching now (at 5:35 pm Pacific Time) live? I can't seem to find it on TV (it's not on ABC, as some people have mentioned). None of the news stories seem to tell me when it is and where on the TV it is. Do they not want people to see this thing?
Rev Wright said the same things Rev Martin Luther King Jr said. Why dont people start attacking MLK too?
Because he is dead...... If he was alive today and was spewing hatred he would be criticized as well..... just like Jessie Jackson and the others are criticized
You obviously haven't seen the entire Wright sermon, he was not "spewing hate". I think you may have some hate issues that need addressing.
Oh, I get it, they aren't airing it live in my area. That's weird, all of the other debates have been live. Maybe I am just used to always seeing them on cable. Thanks for the info. Sounds like I missed some mudslinging.
The economy is in shambles, we're fighting two wars, and our personal freedoms are in the balance, and we are answering questions about lapel pins in the shape of a flag. Please send help!!!

I dont have to go to a skin head website to know that the KKK spews hate..... anytime that race is used as a reason to speak against someone it is hate speech..... doesnt matter who is doing the hating or who is the subject of it...... u cant justify hate speech
This is pathetic, if I was on the stage I would tell the panel and the audience that I had more productive things to do and walk off. I'm changing back to KO, let me know if something important happens.

Wow. I consider myself a critic of Obama and also not an endorser of Clinton, but holy crap! This is like Fox news on steroids! lol "BTW, Senator Obama, you were once in the same neighborhood when a puppy was beaten. How do you explain your relationship with those who beat the puppy?" Man, it seems they are totally dredging up everything about Obama. Maybe they'll slam Clinton in the latter half, but sheesh!

It seems to me that whenever Obama talks or answers a question or accusation, it seems to me he just does better. I don’t know how to explain it very well in such a short period of time but he just seems to do better.
Our next question is about gas and food prices: What would each of you do to remedy this crisis?
Sen. Clinton...um...thats a good question and if you go to my website...Hilliary.blah, you can find my answer. But for the sake of filling the peaons in...I would ensure that the donations, ur..um, gas coupons were distributed equally and that the Govt. chees and peanut butter program was running smoothly.
I love Clinton's reasoning. I've got more baggage, but at least we've talked about it. We've talked about Obama's baggage. The republicans will do whatever they can to destroy either.
Clintons solution: Fight harder! Fight Dirtier!
Obama's solution: Put it into a universal context that the common swing voter can associate with.
THANK GOD she finally said she would support Obama if he becomes the nominee... that was the only worry I had. If her supporters go to Obama along with Clinton, Novemeber will be a shoo-in.
It was nice the way way Obama forced the issue or the issue was forced on her.
What is this shit commercial from the AARP? Left, right, juxtaposed with lattes and farm fences? Way to break the stereotypes, you grey haired early birders.
This debate is a waste of time and they know it...something elese to deflect attention away from the real issues. You know...policy that actually makes a difference.
Why can't they talk about real issues. Do Charlie and George know there is a war going on, that our economy is going down the toilet, and many people can't afford health care?
This is so biased!

These are all issues that have been brought up about Obama....... Issues that Obama fans want to dismiss as unimportant..... but the Bosnia issue is the biggest thing that has happened to anyone...... just ask an Obama fan or the press....... Obama didnt mean it.... Clinton is a liar..... it just goes on and on
When u do nothing but praise and never criticize that is the definition of drinking the kool aid

When I watch these debates, I am just as critical of the media as I am of the candidates. It is clear a lot of the so-called issues attributed to the candidates are generated by the media. I want a debating format that will address this dynamic. At some point, we must put the often one sided media to task for their manipulations, exaggerations, and misrepresentations of the truth.
Oops, Obama felt an urge to criticize President Carter meeting with the democratically elect Hamas party leader. Way to go BO.. and what about Pelosi past visit in Syria? Not good, eh? Otherwise we can talk for months about what contrast is left: McCain wants to bomb the country Obama wants to talk with.

Nice answer on Iraq Hillary, good response. Don't take the bait, I like that...See, when they focus on issues, we remember why we like them BOTH. And i'm not a Hillary fan when she does the bitter stuff.
The link doesn't work for me (don't know if it's my crappy lappy, or that the site's servers are being overwhelmed). But from what I'm reading here - flap pins?? - doesn't seem like I'm missing much.
Has anyone asked them for any favourite family recipes yet?

Oh man Clinton, really, this is such a stupid issue. Put down McCain, slam him, SLAM HIM!
This is your official scolding for being late
now back to the Debate
ok, debate is on....Hillary tried to get out of a simple yes or no if Obama could win the general, and Stephanopolous reasked, and Hillary said "yes, yes, yes". Stephie just asked Obama the same question, and he said "Absolutely" without running around avoiding answering the question.
Exactly why Obama has a strong following - he'll answer a question! Who'da thunk???
I am a person of faith.
Me too!
Change!
Me too!
Hope!
Me Too!
THE END
Obama - "Do you think people were offended when you said you were shot at in Bosnia"..no, he won't go there..cause he has class, i don't.
THANK GOD she finally said she would support Obama if he becomes the nominee... that was the only worry I had. If her supporters go to Obama along with Clinton, Novemeber will be a shoo-in.
Okay, I'm strugglin' here. Exactly when and where is this debate suppose to be on? I can't find it flipping, nor on my program listings.
My god, are we going to keep going with the Wright comments. Wright, and bitter, that's it, beat the dead horse.
If Obama didnt know about the racist comments, why did Obama keep him away when he announced his campaign??

WhalersFan @ 11:
It's not a debate. It's a lame forum, set up to showcase the pretend 'choices' the corporate overlords are pretending to let us have. Then they'll cheat and say McGrampa won, because he's proven he's the guy they can push around.
YOUR CITY OF NEW YORK!?...UGH UGH UGH.....You mean the city you chose to take on because of opportunity.
Rev Wright said the same things Rev Martin Luther King Jr said. Why dont people start attacking MLK too?
Tony from NYC @ 16:
HAHAHAHA!!! I still can't quite figure out how she pulled off being able to be elected in NY state.
Half an hour into the debate and not one question yet on any issue of importance to the country.
I rescind my liking of the questions.....I think that Stephie is getting too deep, let's move onto real issues please....
So are they going to talk about any real issues? And let dead dogs lie.
hrmm...'if mrs. clinton gets nominated then there will be plenty of video tapes..'. maybe he knows something we don't? SEX TAPE!?
Are you kidding me, ABC?
Wright again? Give me a break. Talk about being in someone's pocket. A significant chunk of your 90 minutes on the final debate is bullshit sabotage questions?
What a joke.

And it was lovely how abc decided to call it the "Democrats Debate." Stupid. That was the worst debate I have ever seen.

Are we not but wrapped in the flag

Keith Olberman is a whore for G.E.
IdahoMoe @ 374:

Yours truly, A bitter Pennsylvanian
He was due.

Take your hate to the Huffington Post. Where are you from?
there is no question that last night’s “debate” was a debacle.
Am I delusional or is Hillary Clinton looking kinda sexy lately?

MLK did not say that AIDS was a government conspiracy. To my knowledge He never disparaged a democratic candidate. MLK was a statesman, not a gadfly.
Ah found it, thanks Nicole and Roger. Having to wait until 8 kind of sucks, but I doubt I'm really missing anything at this point.

Who's this William Ayers guy?
What? Bombed who?
Bombed what??
Weather Underground?
Does anyone know anything about this? I haven't read anything about it here.
Senator Obama, if that is your real name. How do you explain the death of Tupak Shakur. Where you, or weren't you, in Las Vegas when he was shot?
Joshdavis @ 6:
It was nice the way way Obama forced the issue or the issue was forced on her.
The longer Hillary stays in the race, the more she reminds me of Joe Lieberman. No kidding.
That was it?
this live link sucks, i dont want to seee that stupid green line, isnt there another link ?
What is this shit commercial from the AARP? Left, right, juxtaposed with lattes and farm fences? Way to break the stereotypes, you grey haired early birders.
I wonder what they are saying in between breaks....
50 minutes on absolute bullshit......and they wonder why most of us trusts/cares what the mainstream media has to promote.
Senator Obama, did you rape a young girl in Colorado while playing for the Lakers?
mutatio @ 81:
These are all issues that have been brought up about Obama....... Issues that Obama fans want to dismiss as unimportant..... but the Bosnia issue is the biggest thing that has happened to anyone...... just ask an Obama fan or the press....... Obama didnt mean it.... Clinton is a liar..... it just goes on and on
When u do nothing but praise and never criticize that is the definition of drinking the kool aid
So Sen. O'bama, any opinion on the Bear Sterns bailout?
Sen. Clinton, heathcare, any thoughts?
And I'm just goin ta throw a toss up out there. War? What is it good for?
52 minutes in, the first question resembling an issue of concern to Americans!
Roger from Ohio @ 102:
Can't acknowledge weakness...
Yes I am Charlie
(Get that on record)
I would tell the Generals to allow me to train all snipers.
Lets Move On
When I watch these debates, I am just as critical of the media as I am of the candidates. It is clear a lot of the so-called issues attributed to the candidates are generated by the media. I want a debating format that will address this dynamic. At some point, we must put the often one sided media to task for their manipulations, exaggerations, and misrepresentations of the truth.
Joseph
Oops, Obama felt an urge to criticize President Carter meeting with the democratically elect Hamas party leader. Way to go BO.. and what about Pelosi past visit in Syria? Not good, eh? Otherwise we can talk for months about what contrast is left: McCain wants to bomb the country Obama wants to talk with.
Responsible and careful manner....blank check...oil revenues....withdrawl...diplomatic effort "I need your oil"...yeah
Within 60 days.
Check
Senator Obama, is it true that your real name is Rodney King?
yeah right "the Iraqis have failed all these years"..
They must of went back stage and downed a couple shots.
