That's about as good as Cable news... well, it is about as believable.

You Americans need to lighten up.

Almost 21 hours after the Tuesday Night Masacre of May 6, 2008 and the victim has refused medical care although she is still hanging on. Her chances for recovery are decidedly non existant say Dr. Warren Diebold, "Even i can't pull enough strings to revive this corpse."

Meanwhile, the victim's family is cursing the world for not doing enough to support her. One person close to the victim said, "If you just send enough money we could salve her wounds. We also accept major credit cards. I.O.U's! I.O.U's work too! We could write you an I.O.U! Want a nice cabinet?

Onlookers looked on in shock.

this video makes me like McCain

Well, I dont know about you, but i could really go for a $600 bucket of fried chicken about now....

i need two groups of people to please explain some things to me

first, the clinton supporters: as it now seems almost impossible for senator clinton to win the nomination, why should a non clinton supporter not believe that everything she does from here on out is only to insure a mccain win so that she can run again in 2012?

second, republicans: after 8 years of failed foreign and domestic policies, how can you guys keep a straight face while saying that a democratic president would be worse for this country than a republican? especially a republican like mccain, who is willing to sell out all of his alledged core values in order to sit in the desk in the oval office?

i currently believe that close to 2/3 of this country dont give two shits about its future.

Not true. Everyone saw it. Not on TV, however. It was so offensive, and every concerned citizen was so outraged that they responsibly looked at repeated replays and still photos on the net afterward to confirm their need to be rightfully indignant.

I love how the Onion articles have to get even crazier just to outdo the real news.

Has anybody heard from Pat Robertson why Myanmar was devistated by a cyclone yet? Was it non cooperating torure victims again?

I was doing a little research and ran across this gem:

Between 1940 and 1944 sales rose from $239 million to $835 million. Profits were so high that the company renegotiated its wartime government contracts downward in order to return what it considered to be unpatriotically excessive returns on investment. Following the war, no company was more ready for a boom than Westinghouse Electric.

http://news.pghtech.org/teq/teqstory.cfm?id=1759

Does this mean that today's military contractors are unpatriotic?

in regards to the police beating in phili, while i do hope a full investigation is done, people need to be aware of a few things

first, just this past saturday, another philly cop was killed on duty

second, these guys were suspects in a shooting and apparently did attempt to allude the police

its unclear by the vid what exactly is going on, on the ground, but i saw the chief's press conference and they have taken a few of these cops off the streets

and look, its a hell of alot better than what happened to those guys in queens...and those cops got off scott free

Listen up Bub. We Americans are the gold standard for morality. I don't know how things are in your land, but here in the Homeland we have very high standards. Saying the "B" word just isn't acceptable around these parts. Sex or the nasty body parts that accompany sex are off limits. That's just how we "roll."

Bill Clinton will go down ( no pun intended ) in history as the man who brought shame to our highest office by engaging in sexual shenanegans in the oval ( not oral ) office ( not oriface ).

George Bush will be remembered for going after the 9/11 evil doers. The fact that he is responsible for thousands of innocent people's deaths will be but a minor footnote next to the fact that he brought honor back to the White House by not being Bill Clinton.

So there! I hope you learned a little something my friend.

What the hell is the matter with hillary?

1. she secretly gave her campaign more money than she revealed. Campaign ran out of money again. The talking heads say she didn't collect 10M after the last race. Another lie.

2. she wants to count the MI votes, neither one of them campaigned there and Sen. Obama's name wasn't on the ballot. She wants all the delegates there, none for Sen. Obama. Sen. Obama is honorable and didn't renege on the preapproved vow. It’s for her benefit.

3. she wants to count the votes in FL; both nominees agreed that they wouldn't campaign there. Here again she want to renege on a promise. It’s for her benefit.
4. she wants to use her form of cheating (see #2 & 3 above) to win the popular vote. It’s a wonder, she has any honest dem supporters. she is a lying, conniving, mini-chimpy.

4. she is staying in the race to fuck the dem. party and Sen. Obama. What a fucking witch.

hillary lost big time in IN where she tied Obama. It should have been a sweep for her like she said. The talking heads predicted she should win by 5 points, no where close. And they were being generous. Now hillary’s campy is punking out and saying a win is a win. GTFOOF

Come on now hillary, your stubbornness is shameful, your rules or sue attitude is a dead-on chimpy tactic.

hillary come back to earth, before the sky opens up (reference to a sarcastic hillary speech about Sen. Obama’s) and hits you with a lightening bolt.

" Moreover, states must be prepared to cede some sovereignty to world bodies if the international system is to function.

This is already taking place in the trade realm. Governments agree to accept the rulings of the World Trade Organization because on balance they benefit from an international trading order, even if a particular decision requires that they alter a practice that is their sovereign right to carry out.

Some governments are prepared to give up elements of sovereignty to address the threat of global climate change. " - Richard Haass

It's very strange that when Katie Couric of CBS or Wolf Blitzer interview RICHARD HAASS from the Council on foreign Relations , they never question him about his radical ideas, nor challenge him on anything .

So let me get this right We as Americans must " cede sovereignty" in order for international financial System to work . My short response is FU , we are not going to give our freedoms away for your grand scheme ,of controlling the worlds currency and to further show how DEVIOUS these degenerates are , they actually plan on using Global Climate Change as a TOOL to erode different countries sovereignty, well ain't that sweet .
Just like the fascist have said , " out of chaos comes order " .

So now lets connect some dots ( a few at least) , CNN's Klein is CFR member ; HAASS a frequent guest CFR , Andrea Mitchell CFR , Tom Browkaw CFR , Rather CFR , Barbara Walters CFR .

'My friends' [ahem] I just got this, from the mouth of McInsane"

"Federal judges today, issue rulings and opinions on policy questions, it should be decided democratically. Assured of lifetime tenures, these judges show little regard for the authority of the president, the congress and the states. They display even less interest in the will of the people. and the only remedy available to any of us is to find, nominate and confirm better judges".

This, 'my friends' is appalling for a U.S. Senator to claim. The role of the judges is to follow the law, impartially, non-politically and without any bias.
Supreme Court Justices are to interpret the U.S. Constitution and its Amendments. Period.

Is McInsane looking to kill Roe v Wade?

Excerpt from "Johnny Got His Gun", should be required reading for every American.

"Somebody said let’s go out and fight for liberty and so they went and got killed without ever once thinking about liberty. And what kind of liberty were they fighting for anyway? How much liberty and whose idea of liberty? Were they fighting for the liberty of eating free ice cream cones all their lives of for the liberty of robbing anybody they pleased whenever they wanted to or what? You tell a man he can’t rob and you take away some of his liberty. You’ve got to. What the hell does liberty mean anyhow? It’s just a word like house or table or any other word. Only it’s a special kind of word. A guy says house and he can point to a house to prove it. But a guy says come on let’s fight for liberty and he can’t show you liberty. He can’t prove the thing he’s talking about so how in the hell can he be telling you to fight for it?"

"They were always fighting for something the bastards and if anyone dared say the hell with fighting it’s all the same each war is like the other and nobody gets any good out of it why they hollered coward. If they weren’t fighting for liberty they were fighting for independence or democracy or freedom or decency or honor or their native land or something else that didn’t mean anything. The war was to make the world safe for democracy for the little countries for everybody. If the war was over now then the world must be all safe for democracy. Was it? And what kind of democracy? And how much? And whose?"

"Did anybody ever come back from the dead any single one of the millions who got killed did any one of them ever come back and say by god I’m glad I’m dead because death is always better than dishonor? Did they say I’m glad I died to make the world safe for democracy? Did they say I like death better than losing liberty? Did any of them ever say it’s good to think I got my guts blown out for the honor of my country? Did any of them ever say look at me I’m dead but I died for decency and that’s better than being alive? Did any of them ever say here I am I’ve been rotting for two years in a foreign grave but it’s wonderful to died for your native land? Did any of them say hurray I died for woman hood and I’m happy see how I sing even though my mouth is choked with worms? Nobody but the dead know whether all these things people talk about are worth dying for or not. And the dead can’t talk. So the words about noble deaths and sacred blood and honor and such are all put into dead lips by grave robbers and fakes who have no right to speak for the dead."

Can someone with some influence suggest to BHO that he should put a call together for donations for the folks in burma? I know that he can't directly use funds from the campaign but perhaps an either/or donation button. He has a lot of attention and a lot of people donating right now.....

American Gas Pains - http://www.treehugger.com/files/2008/05/american-gas-pains-prices.php
Last week, three of the world's biggest oil companies reported record-breaking quarterly profits in excess of $27 billion.
Drilling in our treasured, wild places won't do anything to ease pain at the pump or create energy independence. Even at peak production, which could take 20 years, the Arctic Refuge would produce roughly a year's supply of oil.
Besides reducing our consumption, we also need better fuel efficiency and renewable energy. We need an auto industry that does not fight fuel economy increases every step of the way. We need an EPA that allows states to create stronger fuel economy/emissions standards.
It's time to stop calling for more oil drilling and it's time take back the giveaways to Big Oil. Let's invest those subsidies in clean, renewable energy and energy efficiency - choices that will protect the environment, save us money and create jobs.

Bees typically pollinate about $14 billion worth of U.S. crops a year.

Soon, as I predicted some time ago, Hillary will withdraw and the superdelegate surge will reach a juggernaut pace that has already begun.
Soon, there will be new talk about 2 million Obama donors that will rise to 3 million. There will be talk of a historic voter registration program that has already been approved and will exponentially strengthen democracy and build even more voter turnout, voter excitement and voter enthusiasm.
Soon, there will be talk about a Democratic landslide throughout the Congress as Democrats come together and coordination begins between the presidential and the congressional Democrats.
Soon, there will be talk about the outpouring of enthusiasm around the world from good people everywhere ready to begin a new day of American world leadership based on the great role we have played in the past.

Michigan Democratic Party leaders will meet today to consider a compromise on seating the state's delegates at the national convention.
The proposal, offered by four prominent Michigan Democrats, would give Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton a 10-delegate edge, 69-59, for her victory in a race that did not include rival Sen. Barack Obama on the ballot.

Bush expects to raise $500 million for the library making it the costliest Presidential Library to date. The half-a-billion dollars is twice the total amount Bush spent on his entire 2004 Presidential campaign!

It's funny seeing that picture of Paris Hilton under this thread. She obviously thinks she's all that and a bag of chips, with a jar of KY Jelly.

But the reason she carries her chihuahua in her purse is because whenever she lets her dog out, the dog tries to bury Paris in the back yard.

Where do we see the video of mc'came sawing off his balls?
GOTTA SEE THAT ONE

Ok....so! Who else besides me was disappointed with last nights TDS?
I mean it was funny, but Stewart chickened out. Just when I thought he was gonna bring up Hagee, or Robertson...he throws a curve. Chickenshit!

FYI re principal Beasley, that posted the names of couples (actual correspondence):

-------------- Original message from Edwin--------------

Dear sirs and madams,

This article has come to my attention:

The ACLU says in September 2007, Beasley asked her staff to give her the names of students who were couples, heterosexual and homosexual, because she wanted to keep an eye on them to cut down on public displays of affection.

She’s accused of publicly posting the names of those students, including two boys, Andrew and Nicholas, who had just started dating. The ACLU says that in doing so, Beasley revealed their relationship to other students, teachers and even their parents.

This is absolutely outrageous. How dare this principal do such a thing. I certainly hope you intend to fire her, and that she never enters an educational instsitution again in her life. How shameful.

I am a teacher myself, and wouldn't ever dream of doing such a thing. Shame on all of you. You disgust me with you arrogant high-handedness.

Yours truly,

Edwin

Dear Edwin,

It is so sad that we are judged even before all of the evidence is presented. There is always more than one side of any story. Please allow us to investigate. We love the children and are dedicated to them. Thank you for your comments.

PS sending letters does help

At least McCain will follow Osama to the gates of hell* unlike that effete Obama.

*="Gates of hell" do not include Pakistan, Afghanistan, or any place else Osama might actually be.

From the Center for Progress Action Fund:

Marriott International is considering opening a hotel in Baghdad's fortified Green Zone in response "to a request from U.S. government officials who are eager to help revive Iraq with foreign investment and economic activity." The company’s chief executive, Bill Marriott, is said to be "considering the deal but is concerned about safety issues."

Unbelievable! Great target for all those Iranian al Qaeda terrorists.
