BEARS!!!!!!

I'm reading some right wing-nuts rant about how the mortgage crisis is Bill Clintons fault based on some mortage reform legislation passed during the years the Democrats still held the House and Senate. It still amazes me that after 15 years, they still want to just blame Bill.

Does anybody know which bill that was?

Although the video was dark, I knew about the bear. I have seen this before.

Isn't this story about bike riders and how we need to look out for them? I guess people just post without relating to the stories now. Hmmm.

Anywho, this is a great eye opener and I wish they would play it here in the states over and over. I live in a city that has more biker riders than anywhere in this country and more killed each year too with mistakes on both sides. I think it's a great message if anyone cares.

Ok the Bear got past me. Will McCain get past me also?

Might want to change the "file under" from Air America to The Young Turks, since they have been doing a M-F show at their site (12N - 2pm PDT with an intemittent post game show for 2 hours more) since January, after leaving Air America.

The main show loops throughout the night.

Shoulda been there Tuesday night for some great, non-MSM primary coverage...

Cenk had it spot on. The reason most people miss the bear is because in order to focus on the white team you deliberately exclude dark things from your awareness. Which is exactly what the media has been doing with John McCain: deliberately excluding his scandals and inanities from their awareness in order to focus on sidebars and distractions among the Democrats.

There is a chance right now to preempt the conservative attempt to label Obama as a tax-and-spend liberal.
They say tax-and-spend, you say borrow-and-wait.
What have they done except borrow more against the American treasury, and wait to see if their luck holds out?
They borrow from your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and wait, at the cost of your sons' and daughters' live.
They borrow whatever sounds good and wait to see if anyone will call them on their BS.
They borrow your fear to wait for their profit.

Borrow And Wait.

go with it.

Borrow and pray

Bullsh*t. The Bush Homeownership "Boom" was the biggest bubble-scam-ripoff in U.S. History.

To wing nuts everything is Clintons fault.

let's leave the prayer out of it. Liberals pray too, for an end to this nightmare.
They borrow and wait. Hoping to out-wait the competition.

Everything Bush Co does qualifies as the biggest scam-ripoff in U.S. History.

It should warm one's heart to hear them reach out to the cyclone victims, as they did after the tsunami. But between then and now, what happened? Katrina.

It's a great, funny ad, and it's a good point by Uygur.

Borrow and spend and wait, oh my.

I noticed the bear immediately, because I said "to hell with counting passes!"

borrow?

STEAL?

how many of you would have approved of ANY of these crooks agenda's?

And I guess some people just comment without even bothering to look at a video clip. The bike safety commercial was a metaphor, not the actual topic that Cenk was discussing.

That Cenk rips the real intent of this clip (drivers' general awareness of byclists), changing the meaning, and having a great laugh with the supporting laughing-gas woman, is shameful and pathetic. Really. Really pathetic.

How many cyclists died in the US during the clip of Cenk's amusement? According to the length of the clip and the available statistics, nine cyclists died during Cenks laughter.

Ha fucking ha.

Are you sure that you have those stats correct there carrion? For nine cyclists to have died in a two minute, twenty second clip...there would have to be 2,034,580 cyclist deaths a year.

Or did I just miss the sarcasm?

Yes, that is precisely the genesis for this piece. And, being an avid road cyclist would appreciate it mightily if folks could take to heart the original point of the video. We're out there, please look for us. It can be pretty scary when the pavement on the dge of the road is bad and cars aren't giving you an inch.
