A Tennessee Republican Congressional candidate was caught and detained before he could murder scores of Muslims in Islamberg, NY.

Robert Doggart ran for Congress in 2014 in Tennessee's Fourth District.

He finished in third place in behind the victorious incumbent, Republican Scott DesJarlais, and the Democratic challenger, according to The Tennessean.

As awful as DesJarlais, famous for voting to ban abortions even after he urged his mistress to have one, Doggart is even more insidious. He wanted to massacre a town called "Islamberg" which is on New York's Southern Tier area near Binghamton.

You might recall Bob from this video where he and his militia group, Operation American Freedom, appeared outside the White House promising to remove the President through any means necessary. This time, he was after real Muslims, not the Kenyan impostor in the White House he and his ilk so vehemently despise. He unknowingly informed the FBI of his plans. Doggart called the FBI informant and said about Islamberg,

“those guys (ought or have) to be killed. Their buildings need to be burnt down. If we can get in there and do that not losing a man, even the better.” He later talked about how he thought they could get in and out without being caught, because there are only four policemen in town and the fire department would take 35 minutes to respond, “and we’ll be long gone by then,” while the buildings would have burned down.

Muhammad Matthew Gardner, The Muslims of America Inc. spokesperson said,

“Doggart is an example of the results of unchecked and rampant Islamophobia which has spread lies for years about our peaceful community,” the organization’s public relations director, Mathew Gardner, said in a statement. “This man plotted to mercilessly kill us, kill our children, and blow up our mosque and our school. We have sound reason to believe he has already visited our other locations around the U.S. What other murderous plans do he and his private militia have and where are his accomplices?”

The 63 year old doesn't fit the radical militia stereotype you may imagine. He worked as an engineer for 40 years & has a Ph.D from LaSalle University.

Doggart served in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, including two years as a unit commander. He is also an ordained Christian minister in the Christian National Church (Congregational) and says he received two Presidential Awards for Pro-bono Lifetime Public Service “from Mr. Bush.”

Thankfully, Mr. Doggart was apprehended before he could inflict damage. If he had succeeded, it would increase the likelihood of a retaliatory act from ISIS sympathizers. This ordained Christian Minister has not adopted Jesus' teachings by any stretch of the imagination:

In a call intercepted on March 17 pursuant to the wiretap, Doggart told a female, ‘When we meet in this state, the people we seek will know who we are. We will be cruel to them. And we will burn down their buildings (and) if anyone attempts to, uh, harm us in any way, our stand gunner will take them down from 350 yards away.”

“The standoff gunner would be me,” Doggart continued,... “We’re gonna be carrying an M4 with 500 rounds of ammunition, light armor piercing. A pistol with three extra magazines, and a machete. And if it gets down to the machete, we will cut them to shreds.”

This guy was seriously running for office? I suspect there could be a few people with similar mindsets who have already joined Congress, but are a little better at keeping their hateful intentions less obvious. I speculate these people are not liberals and some may have inadvertently addressed white supremacist groups.
