Tonight on the music club I'm asking for a moment of silence for a man who passed away 30 years ago today.
D Boon was killed in a van accident in the Arizona desert on Interstate 10 while on tour with his band The Minutemen. He was sleeping on the floor toward the back of the van when it slid off the road. He was not buckled in and was ejected from the back. His neck was broken and he died instantly. He was 27 years old.
The Minutemen meant an lot to me as a teenager and help direct me to other ways of looking at things.
