Eric Trump, son of Donald, was on CBS Morning News and was asked by Nora O'Donnell if his father was willing to apologize to the Khan family.
Eric responded by saying his father had apologized already, "I think he has by calling him a hero, you know." He then said the situation "was honestly blown out of proportion."
Obviously, in the real world that is not an apology. And whenever a politician attacks a Gold Star family, (has it ever happened before?) it reverberates throughout the entire political world.

On CNN's At This Hour with Berman and Bolduan earlier today, they produced a segment about this topic and as they were discussing Eric Trump's CBS interview, the chyron read: "Trump's Son: Father Apologized To Khans (He Hasn't.)"
