How fascinating, to watch the chart and hear the sounds made by, I'm guessing, a very early synthesizer. I'm laughing!

Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust.
Informative, inspirational, and humourous.
It's 40 minutes, if you don't feel like watching it now, save the link. It's well worth watching.
And though Franken's concern for Net Neutrality is central to his speech, he talks most about the Progressive Movement, what we have accomplished in the last 5 years, and what to do next - including Net Neutrality.
Franken "Net neutrality is the First Amendment issue of our time."
When will government of the people, by the politicians, for the corporations perish from this Earth?
Not soon enough!

Left in 2007. Two of my grown children are still there in Show Low. I lived in many parts of the state, mostly White Mountains but also Casa Grande and Cottonwood; BA from NAU and got a master's from Prescott College (you know, that tree-hugger school.)

You can learn a lot by hugging trees.
It's definitely a two-way relationship.
Generally they enjoy the attention, but they give as good as they get.
Learned a lot by hugging trees.
Like patience, for instance.
And an awareness of the immediate environment that often escapes us mobile types.
Yup. Hug a tree.
(And they give great back-rubs too!)

Discussing the Afghan Wikileaks with a thirtysomething today (I'm merely 44), got a look as blank as a fart in return...
...was the person you spoke to?
I hope they didnt listen to Lara Logan, who we know has been embedded with the troops, to include having a Blackwater guard's baby, gave a report (from assignment in Uganda) that said official reports of civilians killed from military strikes listed ___ dead, but then using the U.S. military reports as her source, said the same source found the Taliban had killed 10 times as many civilians.
Would this be the same organization that said Pat Tillman was killed by the Taliban?
Lara Logan is a vapid propagandist that would be better working at FOX

the vineyards and fields is going to be the next round of journalistic silliness. Stephen Colbert has volunteered himself, and one of the Spanish-language journalists from Univision has his report from his own time in the fields showing tomorrow.
I just wish there was more details about Colbert, such as, where will they put him to work! It would be awesome if they send him here to pick grapes. :)

...if someone sent Tom Tancredo, John McCain or JD Hayseed there to pick grapes. I'd buy those grapes--at a discount, of course.
...was one of the main inspirations for R2-D2's "voice." Lucas and company were trying to come up with a way for the character to be expressive without literally speaking and Ben Burtt came in with a recording of the Ligeti work. The rest, as they say, "is history."

Oliver Stoned has his Gibson/Thomas moment. Chavez does the scare-mongering thing to win votes. Ahnie thinks we need to be "bi-partisan", except when he refuses to compromise. More atom smashing. Your over-priced game tickets at work. What have you got to hide?
...that anyone involved in the Bush Crime Family's effort to destroy evidence of wrongdoing will be held accountable for anything. Not Alberto Gonzalez, not anyone.
you need to brush up on real information coming out of Venezuela. Yahoo or any of the major news organizations in the states are not the best to get your information from. Neither are the privately owned news organizations in Venezuela or Colombia.
I'd recommend watching this insightful video by John Pilger: The War On Democracy.

In fact, I'd actually recommend just about any documentary that Pilger has made.
Even the commenters here
fail to mention that Vilsack took all the responsibility for forcing her to resign. Why is everyone taking the MSM line that the administration is responsible for her being forced to resign. There is still a lot of bullshit that people are taking for fact.
So the buck stops with the pres. I think Obama/Vilsack obviously made a mistake in caving too quickly to the pressure but I do completely agree with you that to make this a story abut Obama/Vilsack is insane. The story should be the liars at Fox and elsewhere on the right and even worse the fools in the supposedly objective media like CNN, ABC, who still treat Fox as if they were news rather than propaganda.
of breitfart from the Ass of spuds club to make their claims of racism on Sherrod's part?
Modern composition.
The 20th century had the best culture.
I miss that.
The 19th Century had a lot of culture and cultural shifts, too.
