Personally? I think what the Democrats need this election cycle is a little more of the Blackadder's Lord Flashheart. (NSFW).

If Olbermann, Maddow, Schultz, Blitzer and Matthews don't pick up on this tomorrow I will be sadly sickened.

And to think, the Obama administration are CELEBRATING this ruling....

Yeah Abby, You got it. And.. It reminds me of that song by Michael Jackson

Brad Friedman is covering it. He doesn't get near enough attention either. For his work on Election Fraud as well. Here it is...

Soledad O'Brien was disgraceful tonight, and brought discredit to her entire "In America" series. Tonight was probably the only time I've ever thought, "I wish Larry King was doing this interview". Gergen, you've really blown it on this whole Cordoba thing too. Sadly, a Gergen-Fail indicates an America-Fail.

I have it on now and she is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. She hates Islam and she's letting it show in her interview with the Imam Rauf.

I like what he's saying, but then she pipes up in her nauseating bigoted way. Never watching that bitch again.

(edit: sorry about using the "b"-word, but... Right after Larry King, they used Solidad's interview as news. Pretty low; bottom of the barrel. Sure, make your own bad newscast into ..fresh.news. Good work CNN.)

one Christian, one Muslim-- who are sharing one house of worship until the mosque can be built next door to the church property.

They stressed the importance of understanding that many in this world do not understand our freedoms to allow the planned Koran burning by a few-- why can't our President stop it if he disagrees with it, etc. As a result, for better or worse, we as US citizens, will get painted with the book-burning brush of the few. THIS is why these Gainesville crackers are such DICKS.

Here's hoping that Jones' "God" gets through that hateful head of his in the next day or two...

it seems to me that a preacher who is threatening to burn Quran's on September 11th in spite of the fact that Petraeus and hundreds of others are asking him not to in order to protect our American troops who are in harms way should be labeled a "Homegrown Terrorist". He IS inciting violence....

Eh?

permit to burn the book. Who knew you needed a permit? Anyhow, I believe the Supreme Court has ruled cross burning is a hate crime, so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to put a stop to this.

Also, I saw that segment on Olbermann - now that's the way it should be.

How unemployed are we? Poor childhood diets lead to chronic health problems. Iranian woman saved from stoning. I like how the headline differs from the actual quote. Wyeth bought good reviews for its hormones. Lawyers sue over "random" searches. A heckuva job, Dems. Border patrol agents accused of sex crimes and assault. Repugs hate independent thinking. The personal lives police in Santa Monica starts regulating smoking in apartment buildings. Terry Jones has nothing to Gainesville from his incitement. Obama turning into the Dems' Bush? Pacificare faces potential billions in fines for not caring about its payments. At least some places are still hiring. Boeing's other mess.

Though I don't watch the show much, I've always kind of wondered-- Is this a uniquely (or mostly) American problem, somehow tied to our excessive consumption? Any opinions or links appreciated.

I was glad to see JS take on Tim Kaine and basically tell him "Your message is bullshit, you need to get to the point already", and had one of the more interesting interviews I've seen in a while. Anyone else catch that interview tonight and feel a little better knowing that someone finally gave someone in charge the message of "Don't be a pussy and do something about this"?

Ads

You should clean up your site. It is getting blocked by my filters for having crappy ad sources. As a result of that I just had to manually disable my crapfilter that is disabling popups on other sites. Then I got a crapload of flashing epilepsy inducing ads. Which I then blocked manually with adblock+.

I know you want to make money, I want to read. I don't mind an ad, but I will NEVER accept epilepsy inducing trash on a site I read for amusement.

Disgusting ads, I advise you to fix it if you don't want everyone to block them.

I mean I especially had my blocking disabled out of respect. Now I block every single one.

Cheers,
A user getting tired. (ps less music crap. That is not why we read your blog. I get tired of skipping those ffs.)

Simon Wiesenthal's biography by Tom Segev

Why he says there is no "god".......review pg 73, in The Economist Aug 28th-Sept 3rd, 2010

The burning of a religious book is a minor issue when the civility of the world is at stake. The burning/defecating on or whatever of the bible, koran, gita, etc is only an insult and any reaction to a book burning more severe than burning another book is a step down into the sesspit. It's about time the religious freaks of the world try to enter modernity. Some of the worst are muslims/taliban as they busily go about cutting heads off, stoning, and flogging women. Furthermore, burning religious books and offending religious zealots is 'American'! It tends to dull the outrage of these authoritarians, making them more civil in the long run after their 'feelings' are dulled after thousands of insults. Obama's comment "burning the Koran is completely contrary to our values as Americans" is his own deformed interpretation of 'American' and it will not encourage a vote for him when the 'Muslim menace' resurfaces again and again. France is battling neighborhoods with quasi-sharia law now and it should be a warning to us all that we infidels won't put 'bells on our toes' without a sword over our neck.
