That's just the way it is...

drink one for george washington tonight, i know i'll drink six!!

is pretty good.

They use news footage to put it together.

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=2338F...

We need to know what happened and who was involved, I can't believe that nobody was aware of this plot, with all the evidence we have seen who really believes the "official" story?

We need to investigate before the trail becomes too cold.

the FBI just reopened the early 80's tylenol poisoning case.

the trail will NEVER become too cold,

not for kennedy, not for 9/11.

One man. One gun.

(the clock starts at the first shot)

...how long a ruthless murderer skirts the legal system.

IF YOU ARE GUILTY YOU WILL BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE.

This is America. People get away with murder every day.

I'd roast the peanut CEO.

wow! Good stuff.

I just followed one link about the recovered black boxes.

Rheeee! Rheeee! Rheeee!

Oh, that's just my bullshit detector going off.

of the "plane" crashing into the Pentagon.

Gee. There must have been at least 50 different camera angles of that "plane" hitting the Pentagon.

What? You say the Pentagon REFUSED to release the videos they had??

Nevermind.

Oh, and this just in:

http://www.boingboing.net/2009/02/09/rep-kanj...

... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1

And can you imagine, Bushco wanted Henry Kissinger to chair the Commission??

...hank's the guy you call if you don't want folks to know jack $#!+.

at least in the old world paradigm...

i figured out how they did it ,and who did it and it was a piece of cake!

If anybody could do it, you're the one Tyree.

well i spent hours and hours going over the event , jesus if i could write good i could make a movie about 911 and youd believe every word!

i spent hours and hours going over that crap too. i cried so hard i contemplated suicide.

but i remembered ed harris in "apollo 13".

everyone told him there was no hope, and he said, "no, actually i think this is about to be america's finest hour."

Great to hear and perspective. There'll be good days ahead.

easier to solve than a crappy episode of dragnet or batman...

...an episode of scooby doo.

michal moore did a good job and the guys who wrote loose change only skimmed the surface about that day

Many of the big money from there are involved.

we might rescue our economy...

if we found the 2.5 trillion reported missing on 9/10/01, and all the gold from under the world trade center that went missing the next day...

.. was osama bin laden personally driving the truck?!

perhaps it was only there on ===paper and not as it was supposed to be in the basement????

Almost as good as the real stuff, until the auditors demand to see it.

and had to edit their documentary twice to remove and change the lies

but I think it was, that Randi Rhodes linked in her newsletter a few years back, that tried to compare the collision of jetliners into the WTC towers with the collision of a B 52 into the Empire State Building, and the after-effects of the collisions.

First, the ESB is made of reinforced concrete, built completely differently from the WTC towers.

Second, and more importantly, the ESB was hit by an aircraft smaller, lighter and slower than a B 52 or a modern jetliner: a B 25. And the B 52 didn't even exist in the late '40's, it wasn't even on the drawing board, when the ESB/B 25 collision occurred.

It all came across as wishful thinking on the part of the films producers. It was certainly a demonstration of their limited ability to do research.

We were told that the jet fuel caused a massive fire, that melted the steel, which buckled the floor, which collapsed on the floor below and so forth till the whole buildings collapsed.
First of all, 99 percent of the jet fuel burned off in the giant explosion of the collision. Jet fuel does not burn at a hot enough temperature to melt steel. If the fires were so incredibly hot that they melted the steel, how come there is video of people still alive on the floors where the massive inferno was?
How is it possible that the buildings both fell at the speed of gravity. If a pancake collapse was what happened, then it could not collapse at free fall speed.
How could building 7 which was not hit by any plane collapse because of a few scattered fires?
Never before or since in the history of building with steel has fire caused a single building to collapse. Yet that day, fire supposedly caused 3 separate buildings to fall into their own footprints in classic demolition style.
Since that day there have been several instances of steel framed buildings burning over greater floor areas for much longer than the twin towers or building 7. Not a single one collapsed.
http://911research.wtc7.net/wtc/analysis/comp...
There are dozens of eye witness reports of explosions going on before the buildings fell. There are many tv and film records of massive explosions.
William Rodriguez, a janitor in one of the towers, told of an explosion in the sub-basement of the first tower hit BEFORE the plane hit the building. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=85360...
How is it that Rudy Guiliano knew that the towers were going to fall before they did? Who told him?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWdE8xeFHgs&eu...

was struck by a passenger jetliner at full speed

again you troofers fail

eyewitness reports are fallible amongst confusion...which is why eyewitnesses are regularly ripped apart on witness stands

again...another fail

rodriguez was mistaken

fail

rudy did not know

fail

fail

fail

GO THE FUCK AWAY

YOU ARE ALL INSANE

A 40 story Chinese skyscraper caught fire and it was a full on inferno on every floor.

Once the fires were put out guess what??!!

The freakin' building was STILL STANDING!!!

But on 9/11 three buildings fell at free fall speed and WTC 7 wasn't even hit by a plane!

It seems everyone knows something stinks. It's like the elephant in the room no one wants to acknowledge, but sooner or later there'll be so much elephant shit and vomiting from the stench that we'll all have to get serious about saving our country from the true "evil doers".

The lie of 9/11 is too big to ignore and way too obvious to anyone with a brain, eyes and ears.

about so many things.

Awesome!

This is huge. There is a lot of big money players involved.

it doesn't change the fact that simon wiesenthal had to hunt the s.o.b.'s down, though, does it?

... that even as we uncover the truth, you will probably never see a bush tried for any crimes.

if that's your personal vendetta, you'll probably be disappointed. h.w. is simply still too loved in u.s. spookville.

karl rove probably will never go to jail, either.

no american president will ever be tried for war crimes -mark my words.

a former vice president and a former secretary of defense, though?

that's an entirely different matter...

but I'm talking about the huge money players behind the scheme in the first place.

...we're talkin' about sending rumpelstiltskin back to hell.

Google it.

well its just wishfull thinking that if it could be discussed , some ones could maby add something to my theory , but i know enough to make a good case for what i think happened!

I think that this is a subject we can all agree on.

let's leave it up to glenn greenwald, vincent bugliosi or patrick fitzgerald...

yeah sure thing

Madoff's wife cashed in, too. [This link was broken, so I found the story and fixed it, but it's a different source. I hope you don't mind-Sitemonitor]

The final stimulus bill? Looks like children can only find work as mercs in Cambodia. Can cotton candy help with human tissue? Global warming is screwing up birdy migratory patterns.
Now there are 69 stolen computers from that Los Alamos lab, but sadly no Chinese guy to scapegoat this time. Is the Cali budget stand-off finally ending? Michael Moore is now accepting corporate whistle-blowers for his next movie.

tip of the iceberg -it's like one of those pictures you look at and they ask you, "how many triangles"?

madoff is just one little triangle -the whole economy is a g-ddamn pyramid scheme.

and ill bet the enron prick thats supposed to have died of a heart attacks sucking on rum and cokes in dubia

if he's alive he will be hunted down by a 21st-century simon wiesenthal, mark my words...

Tell Michael Moore the Truth.

Bailout@MichaelMoore.com

He ought to know. And there's a new executive director at Moveon.org
His email address is: JRuben@MoveOn.org.

Unfortunately we have to be the media, because those fools in the dress up rooms get paid too much to do their job.

unfortunetly i dont think moors going to be fully believed untill they question the people who were thier , and they start in ernest to connect the dots, it was a day filled with perfectly planned illusions allmost like a magic show,

check out "the prestige".

magic is exactly what this is.

dick cheney has called this an "existential struggle" -i think i know what he means.

and, yes, tyree, most americans are fooled by a simple shell game -but i strongly suspect the overall narrative is about to shift, considerably...

magic? You mean, like when David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty disappear? ;)

Mrs Madoff was just picking up some walking around money.

It was Colombia, not Cambodia.

an absolutely brilliant move.....not

we are all hurting, and state employees need to pitch in by accepting cuts

and its time for the state government to truly modernize

... i thought i'd share a laugh...

although the underground world of usenut is rife with some rather repugnant attitudes due to its uncensored nature, it occasionally reveals some gems which must be shared with the world and so, what follows is a censored version of an incredibly blunt but incredibly succinct, insightful and hilarious treatise on republicanism:

----------------------

Republicanism Explained

Well, I can't definitively say what "conservatism" means.

I possess no advanced degrees, am not a philosopher, and have almost no knowledge of political science.

However.

I can tell you what Republicanism means, and that, I think, is a more germane issue.

As I'm sure you've noticed, we don't have a "Conservative" party on our ballots.

No.

We have a "Republican" one.

So figuring out what they stand for seems to be a much more useful endeavor than attempting to define "conservatism."

Well, I've done a lot of observing and thinking, and it seems to me that the Republican party stands for two things.

1. Tax cuts are the cure for everything, including the common cold.

2. F**k you.

And that's pretty much it.

All of the sh*t that the Republicans do flows from those two points.

I know what you're thinking.

"What about the religious right?"

"What about the anti-science stand?"

"What about the neocons?"

"What about all of the other cherished bullshit of the GOP?"

They can all be explained by number two.

The Republicans don't really care about God.

They just like to use him to tell people "F**k you."

Women want to control their own reproductive systems?

F**k you.

People want to get married to whatever other adult they want?

F**k you.

There's overwhelming evidence that life on earth is billions of years old?

F**k you.

The same applies to their foreign policy.

What, you aren't happy with us starting a war with a country that never attacked us?

F**k you.

Don't like our carbon emissions or bullshit missile defense?

F**k you.

Pissed off that we abducted and tortured your citizens?

F**k you.

And on and on it goes.

These people aren't interested in cutting spending or in limited government--they spend like drunken sailors (I would know) and want to regulate who, when, and where you can f**k.

That's about as fiscally irresponsible and intrusive as government can get.

They don't care about patriotism or families.

And "drill, baby, drill" was just a "F**k you" that was acceptable to the FCC.

As for # 1, they keep parroting that insane fucking line no matter what.

Got a surplus?

Cut taxes.

In a deficit?

Cut taxes.

Booming times?

Cut taxes.

Worst economy since the Great Depression?

We need to--you guessed it--cut taxes.

They never explain how it would work.

It's an article of faith.

I mean, when a group of imaginary creatures from a cardboard cut-out cartoon show has a better economic model than a major political party, things are really fucked up.

Yet, somehow, they still get taken seriously.

There are a lot of things I don't understand about the world.

That fact is about forty of those things.

So it comes down to this:

Republicanism is an ideology by and for bullies.

But not the kind of bullies who have the guts to get in actual fights, even if the deck is stacked in their favor.

No.

They hire people to do their fighting for them.

Even in their grand and glorious overseas crusades, the ones where they denounce everyone who opposes them as cowards and appeasers, these c**ksuckers stay on the sidelines.

How many prominent Republicans ran out and enlisted after 9/11?

How about before the Iraq war?

Which major Republican pundits were cops?

Not a g**d*mn one.

Why?

All talk, no action.

They're the kind of bullies who love to pick on anyone at the lower end of the economic ladder.

It's what weak, sh**ty people do.

What, you want health care you can afford?

F**k you.

Your kids need better schools?

F**k you.

Workers want to be able to form unions to get better pay and benefits?
Oh, F**k you.

That tax cut sh*t is bullying, too.

Because they don't really care about cutting your taxes.

No.

They want to cut rich people's taxes.

It's like they read the story of Robin Hood and thought he was robbing the wrong people.

And, since somebody eventually has to pay the bill for all the costs the government incurs when it's out invading sovereign countries that have never threatened us, who do you think gets left with the tab?

That's right.

The people who can least afford it.

Why?

Because F**k you.

So I guess Republicanism has just one premise after all.

How very true!

And very funny!

I ahve tears in my eyes from laughing.

You want to hear something scary? I was sitting in my Ideals & Ideologies PoliSci classroom just before class, and sue to various factors, Sarah Palin came up. I emtnioned that she was letting over 200 villages in Alaska STARVE and FREEZE to death, while Hugo Chavez offers them oil for heating, and do you know what one guy said to me?

He said, and I quote:

So? They should go out and get a job to get some food. Can't get a job? Go get a gun and rob somebody. If you won't go for it, you'll die.

!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!?????

Of course, I live in Mesa, AZ, the jr capital of Mormonism, and we all know how conservative they are, so...

I was just flabbergasted, though. The teacher interrupted before he could anwer my nest question: How can you sleep at night after condemning people to die like that? Children, adults, and seniors alike? WTF?

...when someone says something sooooo entirely sociopathic, there is literally no way to reason with them enough to instill any form of connection with their essential humanity... i can almost feel the shiver of cold that must have run through you when that idiot essentially claimed he was capable of murdering someone for money...

... if livni won yet?

regardless of her complicity in the gaza bloodbath, i hope she wins because israel BADLY needs a new face to present to the world.

bibi simply ain't gonna cut it.

bibi just does not GET IT.

the reason i call him a retrograde imperialist is because he has not kept up with modern media.

bibi doesn't realize this ain't like the old days, where you could send andrew jackson out to go massacre a bunch of indians, and get no media coverage.

the world is watching, the world considers bibi a psycho.

and i continue to pray for the holy land...

and please....do not compare the palestinians to the native americans

livni will win a bare majority, which means she will have to form a divided government in order to gain the pm seat

like in the past, this government will collapse within one to two years

this is why multiple party systems dont work

but the system in israel will never change, because the religious want a voice in government

... i think the recent bloodbath speaks for itself.

don't get me started on any anti-israel bull$#!+.

i love that scrap of land every bit as much as you do, and if you think your love is somehow more sincere because you're a jew and i'm a christian, bugger off.

if you want an all out debate on religion i will tell you there is no one in judaism or islam quite like jesus.

the jews expected the messiah to be a military champ like king david to overthrow the romans -no way this piss-poor loudmouth peasant from nazareth could fit the description...

and when he flipped the money changers' tables a week before the crucifixion, everyone had had it.

the irony is that jesus DID bring down the roman empire. when constantine declared christianity the official religion, the roman empire was finished.

part of the problem is rthat none of you, in judaism or islam, have a jesus -a man committed to peace. no gandhi, no jesus. just more war-mongering.

at any events i got to hit the sack , have to get up early to warm the crowd up fer the froggy! night!

Take it easy.

Luv ya!

you plannin' on burnin' down the other half of rome?

i was thinkin' 'bout what you said earlier today when you said i was the new tyree...

if you mean i will do ANYTHING to save my country, the united states of america, you're spot on.

if you mean i'll one day get to be an 80 year old man with a loving wife, a loyal dog, a reliable truck, a decent piece of land in the midwest, a slew of rifles and a good bottle of whiskey...

well, that sounds pretty damn good to me...

... i'm only about 45 minutes away from you -maybe i'll bang on your door some morning and we'll go get some denny's omelettes...

say that sounds good froggy , dennys is my favorite breakfast , jesus if your only that far away you must be close,

Yea

Obama is coming to town tommorrow, I am heading to near where he will be as soon as I get off work, if the motorcade goes on my route I will hope to catch a glimpse of it, at least his itinerary has been made to the public and if he keeps on schedule I should know where to find him, if the streets are not already closed before I get there. It's the same route Bush used when he made the same visit two years ago. That time, were it not happening while I was at work, would have meant I would have been on the route to give him the one finger salute

Apparently the anti-net-neutrality language did not make it into the bill.

this is not a time to put limits or add to the costs for consumers

and if the dems ever allow anti net neutrality to be passed...then its time to elect the communist party

But that came damn close. Thank you.

(This was supposed to be about Klunk's Repunlicanism post. How it got to be here I don't know!.)

GNA!

Over 60% of Americans reject evolution, which probably explains why they also chose the worst guy for the job during the last eight years.

We had to struggle with the old enemies of peace--business and financial monopoly, speculation, reckless banking, class antagonism, sectionalism, war profiteering.

They had begun to consider the Government of the United States as a mere appendage to their own affairs. We know now that Government by organized money is just as dangerous as Government by organized mob.

Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me--and I welcome their hatred.

I don't think the U.S.of A. is quite ready for that much non-bull but ya gotta love it!

Where does everyone think the price of gold will go in the short term and long term?

Are both now trending upward and I believe as everything else tanks, including the U.S. dollar, that silver and gold will become the classic panic metals.

Especially the 90% silver coins and gold coins. They are real money with value and can be used to buy stuff and for barter situations. Try calling any coin dealer. They either have no silver coins or they admit they are holding until the price stops being manipulated. $13 for an ounce of silver is a JOKE.

Buy it (if you can find it) and physically possess it and HOLD IT until the price is at least $50-100/oz.

Over the weekend I expressed my opinion about having another 911 commission investigation and have Bush under oath for a public interview, and next of course will be Chaney.
But this time, we have to be sure that nobody obtructs the process just like Bob Zoellick did. He opposed everything there was to oppose as far as the 911 investigation went. I hope that this comes to reality. I'm so fucking sure that the whole thing was carefully planned in order to go to war and become billionaires as they certainly did.

Presenting the Stimmies

Feb. 11: Talk Me Down: Members of the House and Senate from both parties patted themselves on the back for agreeing on a new version of the stimulus package. Rachel Maddow asks economist Jeffrey Sachs if the watered-down package will still achieve the goal.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/vp/29149...

Just watch this video and you'll understand why I will never vote for a republican and why I want to vote out every incumbent. With the problems we face and with a clear demand from the people to fix things, we get a bill that screws more people than it helps and which was 'compromised' to reduce help for the neediest among us.

US Embassy fortress in Baghdad there as well. Wow!

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/vp/29149...

Average $13/week is what the stimulating bill is. That is going to save the economy? Oh wait, there is more. Paying up to 60% of medical expenses for SOME layed off workers. Oh wow. Can you feel the unemployed cheering now? Perhaps, instead of this bill, they could have fixed the unemployment workings instead:

More than a quarter of people applying for such claims have their rights to the benefit challenged as employers increasingly act to block payouts to former workers.

Bank CEOs to Tell Congress How They Spent $125 Billion in Taxpayer Money........As the country's recession deepened, the government provided hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer funds to rescue the nation's floundering banks. Now, lawmakers want to know how that money is being used: to increase lending to consumers or spent on executive bonuses, luxury jets, and posh trips to Las Vegas or Monte Carlo----------Sen. Republicans & right wingnuts...and their union boogeyman tactics.... Here's a helpful thought....Unions = Home Owner Association, so that when one person does something stupid (ie, a self-important CEO) the majority can fight back against whatever malfeasance is being thrusted upon them....

MUST READ: Naomi Klein Interview - http://www.progressive.org/mag/intv0209.html
"Politicians don’t take the kind of bold risks that we really need in this moment. People are talking about the need for a green New Deal, and comparing this moment to the early 1930s, and they’re right. But what led FDR to take those risks and be that bold was that he was under enormous pressure from grassroots movements from below. In the absence of that, Obama’s under tremendous pressure not to shock the system."
"This bailout was the Bush Administration’s last trough. Like the Iraq War, it was a cash machine, where private companies withdraw funds and pay them back in the form of campaign contributions. The Bush Administration cut an incredibly bad deal with the banks. We know how bad it is because five days earlier Britain’s Gordon Brown negotiated a deal to purchase equity in exchange for a capital injection.
He got a 12 percent return, a seat on the board, voting rights, and he got guarantees that they would use the capital injection to lend money to small businesses and homeowners. So, five days later, Henry Paulson comes up with his terms: 5 percent as opposed to 12 percent, no voting rights, no seats on the board, and no guarantee that the money will be spent doing what they said it was intended to do: to get lending going.
We all have a huge stake in stopping this heist."

Health Care as a Human Right: by Rudi Batzell - http://www.commondreams.org/view/2009/02/11-5
It is clear that many Americans are again ready for a major change; more than three-quarters believe that the current system based on private employer-based insurance is failing and that the health care system needs to be fundamentally rebuilt. Some form of "health care reform" will be enacted, but there is great danger that pressures from the insurance industry and other business groups will dilute the measure, transforming it into an additional federal subsidy for an already bloated insurance industry.
HEALTH CARE IS A HUMAN RIGHT, and activists on the left and in the labor movement are returning to rally around the principles defeated in the 1940s. -- The tragedy is that the detour through the "private welfare state" forces us to now confront the powerful sectors that profit disgustingly from our broken system. Yet there are signs of other forces emerging. Many corporate elites are realizing that the inefficiencies of our private system are a hindrance in a competitive global market.
To protect the continued competitiveness of U.S. corporations, the interests of capitalist accumulation in general may triumph over the narrow interests of the insurance industry.

Robert Parry: The GOP's Jihad on Obama - http://www.consortiumnews.com/2009/021009.html
The Republicans and their right-wing media allies are doing whatever they can to strangle the Obama phenomenon in its cradle; the mainstream media pundits are stressing the negative so they don’t get called “in the tank for Obama”; and the Democrats are shying away from holding the Bush-Cheney administration accountable for its crimes.
None of these developments is particularly surprising. Indeed, they track closely to the political-media pattern that took shape the last time a young Democrat won the White House, when Bill Clinton became President in 1993.

America Turns a Page, and Israel, Well…By Leonard Fein - http://www.forward.com/articles/15165/
The contrast could hardly be more stark. In America, a page has been turned....there is new hope, and an outpouring of respect and affection for President Obama. And in Israel? This week’s elections in Israel hardly start a new chapter in Israel’s history. Instead, they offer the prospect of more of the bleak same.

Derrick Z. Jackson: A shovel-ready stimulus buries schools - http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/opinion/399522_...
One of the most chronic aspects of the Bush years was the underfunding of education, most notably the halfway spending by Republicans of their own pet project, No Child Left Behind. This was all supposed to change under Obama. But the so-called Democratic majority in the Senate has not yet gotten the memo from the voters to stand up for the kids.
The Republicans may be doing violence, but the Democrats have to stop doing themselves in. Sen. Kent Conrad of North Dakota bluntly said, "Education took a big hit here."

This country is f***ed up! Greedy bastards who bankrupted our nation, destroyed our dollar, and raped the US Treasury are taking OUR money to reward the a-holes who got us into this mess in the first place...with their 'strategic business decisions'

"The surge in white-collar investigations is putting such a strain on the FBI that Pistole said the bureau is considering reassigning agents from national security, which has been the bureau's priority since the 9/11 attacks."

Gee, I wonder if there's any relationship between the lack of investigation of corporate fraud by the FBI and the obsession with the terrists under bushco? Nah, purely coincidental, I'm sure...

Like Naomi Klein says...

In chaos you can steal...

Yeah, GWBush was dumb as a rock, he was the faceman

The Cheney presidency was a stickup of the US Treasury, the rescue of bankrupt Halliburton, the proliferation of terrorism (attacks skyrocketed, activity soared), war for profit was maximized, mangoes for nukes trades, and the parting gift to the 'free marketized' Wall Street/Military Industrial Complex/Banking/Hedge Fund/Old Energy-Oil cabal which republicans are indebted to, work for, and represent without conscience...

Claims Obama prescreened his questions in his "live town hall" televised doomsday stimulus meeting. Just like Bush. I'm surprised.

its a new day folks !but not a new way, americans are still being fooled by the corporations and the obama administration, this collapse of the economy has been planned for a long time , its not just something that happened in the last year or so, some one likened what we are about to experience is the same as happened to germany just before hitler came to power where it took a bucket of money to buy a loaf of bread, its here and will get worse after we spend all that wpa money on jobs that leed nowhere , since as i have said we dont have a manufactureing base in america anymore you will only have chinese made crap to spend your money on and now even our food supplies are comeing in from red china, and they have poisoned our pets and our kids ect, but and your not listening the corporations are short sheeting us on the food products they sell us, notice how they downsize the ammount of products you buy anymore and still charge the same price , its going to get worse as that government money hits the streets , your going to see all your doing is walking in place and just working to eat that over priced crap in the food stores , any product thats made to produce energy such as solar energy will be in the hands of big oil , they own the coal companys the oil industry and they will own anything that should save us money, and sooner or later it all will be made and shipped here from you got it red china!

Bulworth remains the ONLY serious political film of our time.

I remember when Bulworth was in theaters back when I was in college. I passed it up. One of many mistakes I made when I was in college.

That was very funny, very true and very sad. I need to hit netflix. Now.
