Theres was a video circulating in Youtube/liveleak of a song that was being performed on US bases in Iraq, in the mess halls about the rape/killings.
When an occupation force starts singing jokey songs about a young girl's rape and murder, you know that something very wrong is happening at all levels of command in an army.
But luckily the PR types at the Pentagon have fixed this, it seems that if you google 'hadritha girl' you get multiple heart warming NEW stories of some humanitarian effort to save some two YO girl, very clever PR work there, erase a very bad older news story with some Faux style fluff piece.
Its obvious that this was done deliberately, find a suitable kid with a fixable problem in that town, and then push the story out to the MSM. Most people are too lazy to check page two on google results and bad PR problem solved...
btw, the earlier girl was a mere 12 years old. A child in any culture.

Washington loves the paid propaganda shills who support their imperial wars, yet the footsoldiers fighting dictators (for themselves and the US) get shafted by INS bureaucrats if they try to apply for asylum in the US, always a case of who you know not what you are. Betcha the Chablis types never have trouble residing in the US.
One thing to note and it might be a critical thing, is somebody not a permanent resident and holding a 'green card' has to renew their visa status periodically, and this is VERY lucrative for the INS. We are talking a 'tax' of 1000s every two years or so to pay for new photograph/fingerprinting and new status documents.
Once you become a permanent resident, you only have to renew the physical card every ten years, and the status is forever, ie it doesn't expire unlike temp visa status. So not much opportunity for gouging residency 'taxes' from aliens. And as there are about one million visa applications to reside in the US per year, and many 10s of millions of residents, the amount of paperwork and red tape is astronomical, and the number of pen pushers required to service all this guff, keeps a lot of unemployable white shirts off the unemployment stats and in cushy federal jobs.
Sorry, but they really shouldn't desecrate a family as cool as the Addams Family. While I enjoyed The Munsters, it was clearly a ripoff - a poor copy created solely for short-term profits - just like conservatives.

I was never turned on by TV chicks. I did, and do, like Marlo Thomas, and That Girl was better than MTM. MTM was much better in the Dick van Dyke show. Pete from Mod Squad was my hotness.
Lost in Space was great fun for a 7-year-old boy, like me, but I am also a Star Trek fan, still, today. The original and Next Generation, but not the other spin-offs.
I wasn't a fan of Petticoat Junction, but loved Green Acres!!! And I remain, a fan of Herman Munster, big, green, lovable freak (especially when he was doing his hep cat schtick.)

CIA Admits That Info About Torture Briefings For Dems May Not Be Accurate
"(N)ewly released documents appear to show that according to the CIA, officials briefed Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats back in 2002 about the use of torture techniques on terror suspects. But a letter that accompanied these documents, written by the head of the CIA, appears to clearly concede that the information in the docs about who was briefed and when may not be accurate or reliable. Republicans are pointing to the documents — which were produced by the CIA and the Director of National Intelligence, and sent to select members of Congress — to charge that Pelosi and other Dems have been lying about what they knew about waterboarding and when. But the docs were accompanied by a letter from CIA chief Leon Panetta that appears to suggest the CIA can’t promise that the info is right. The letter was sent along with the documents to GOP Rep Pete Hoekstra, a leading critic of Dems on torture, and Dem Rep Silvestre Reyes, the chairman of the intelligence committee."

It's not the easiest read, but it's well worth the effort.
The whole attempt to smear the Dems is just another tactic to delay getting at the truth and the real culprits - even if Dems are complicit.
And for that matter, there's nothing in the report that substantiates the claim that Dems were complicit, despite the damning headlines that would suggest otherwise.

I can definitely see such a bill being useful if you own land that has water that feeds into say water wells where we get our drinking water or lakes etc. Is it really reasonable for a corp to buy some land next to a stream then dump toxic materials just because it's "their" stream and in the process killing not only wild life but people as well? Motorola in the Phoenix area was in a similar position back in the 80's early 90's. When I went to work for them in the late 90's there were mandatory meetings to cover their asses because they were responsible for people getting ill and dying.
So it depends on the wording of the bill really and how it's enforced.

Nah, Brit Hume is definitely Lurch, and Ann Coulter isn't bad as Morticia. Joe the Plumber as Uncle Fester, and Glen Beck and Michelle Malkin as their snotty kids (can't remember their names) all fit. But Limbaugh as Gomez...Gomez was nuts, but very cool, Limbaugh is just...a turd.
