Annie, where's your shrine?
Does one empty bookstore on a Friday night near dinner time with many books about Obama mean that he's losing his popularity already? More comedy musings from my pal Ann.

Professor of Law Althouse's dire threats of libel action against persons who dared to quote her verbatim.

"Ann Outhouse", so sue me already!
Ann manages to point out the state of the book industry in severe times through pictures. No one really has the energy nor interest to buy these sorts of books period, let alone books about Obama.
But really, if you have time to be at a bookstore at 5:30 PM on a Friday, Annie, when we're all working or at home feeding our families, PUT DOWN THE CAMERA. Buy something, for crying out loud. That person behind the cash register doesn't care if you buy Obama's book, a biography on Cheney, or a pop-up book. Just BUY SOMETHING.
In fairness, it's not clear what Ann Althouse's point was from her post - or even if she had a point at all.
Wow. An empty Borders Book Store in Wisconsin in January.
A slice of Americana?
