Jay Bybee signed off on notorious Bush-era torture memos. And now? He's serving as a judge on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, thanks to George Bush.
Jay Bybee showed no respect for our laws and isn't fit to be a federal judge. Can you sign this petition urging Congress to impeach Jay Bybee?

He now stands by the torture memos and Rep. Peter King (R., N.Y.) says that Bybee should be given a medal for rationalizing torture.

I would love to see that S.O.B. prosecuted, but I guess that's hoping for too much. I supposed I'd be sort of satisfied to see him disbarred.
I was watching The Daily Show a few days ago and saw Jon Stewart do very well in a serious debate with a "pro-torture" dude. The dude was trying to argue that the "torture memos" were actually "anti-torture memos" because they provided guidelines on what's "acceptable". (?????) Jon made some remark about how it's bullshit to say that it's torture if you waterboard a guy for 50 seconds but not if you do it for 40 seconds. If anyone out there remembers the name of the guest and details of the interview, please jump in.
His memo led to the 27 homicides that occurred during "guess what i want to hear?"sessions.
He a Mormon, an cub scout murderer or how would we treat a inter city kid involved in 27 homicides? Give him a federal judgeship ?

Jay Bybee could not have authorized torture via these memos, nor could John Yoo or Stephen Bradbury. They were only mid-level worker bees in the Department of Justice's OLC. The only thing these memos do - the only thing they ever possibly could do - is discuss whether President Bush had the authority as Commander in Chief to OK such 'techniques.'
So the question remains: Did George W. Bush ever issue such an executive order? If so, he's never acknowledged it.

Mormons rational-lie. And Bybee is a mormon. So, he's comfortable with twisting truth. Torture became ok, although, the Christian faith isn't big on such an ordeal. Mormons are like republicans, they say one thing and do the other. Joseph Smith is a saint when, in truth he was a convict (Much like a latter day Jim Jones).
Mormons believe it's ok to rape many young girls (girls,not boys 15 and under) if they marry them. Mormons will push a parent out of their cult(and brain wash the children with lies) if you don't believe their prophet (the president of the church) can raise the dead.
They rational-lie that Jesus stands 15 feet tall. They rational-lie that their temples are the same as the Masons because the mormons came first.(When they actually stole mason architecture and teaching). Mormons rational-lie it's ok to blame American Natives for massacres they commit(Mountain Meadow). There's so much to the mormon cult that is just so wrongly rational-lied about that all I can say is Bybee is dangerous and a rational-liar. Mormons will lie to climb the latter...just to call themselves successful. Quite republican!
I am an X-mormon. I left the cult because of their "lies". There is so much more deciet in the mormon faith. Prosecute Bybee.
