It's one of the first times that Alan has ever gotten any national exposure before so how does he even make a case that Grayson is a media hound? Matthews at least thought what he said was true about the republicans just say no stance on health care reform, but James Warren also attacked him as has most of the Villagers. They sure don't like uppity liberals, but if you're a nut job conservative you can say anything at all on TV, in Congress or on radio.
And the money keeps coming in for Rep. Grayson.
I think the blogosphere appreciates a liberal with guts.

Since when can only the Jews use the word holocaust, I seem to remember the term nuclear holocaust being bandied about without getting everyone's panties in a twist.

It's the proper use of the word. When people get upset over proper word usage, they're fucking morons, and they need to listen or read for comprehension. According to the Harvard study cited by Grayson about 44,000 thousand Americans needlessly die each year because of our unholy insurance system. This means that, since September 11, 2001 over 350,000 Americans have died so insurance company CEOs can get million-dollar salaries.
And that, my friends plus miss kitty, is what you call a holocaust.

Part of the reason Alan feels free to speak the truth and damn the consequences is because he can largely self-finance a campaign. I just saw him on msnbc and he's not backing down an inch. He blistered any repubs who are saying anything bad about the US not getting the Olympic games because the president went to bat for Chicago. He also said since he made his statement, the repubs have offered nothing in the way of a good health care reform bill.
