Found three viruses, including a TAI level 10 Trojan. Not bad for free software.
Spent much of the whole day doing disk defragmentation and running the virus scan, all while Orlando streets here were locked up tight.
Much faster; hopefully the non-responsive scripts are gone as well.

how much space clean-up will free up. Then a check box will appear and allow you to select which file types you want to delete. As a minimum, select temp files, temp internet files, recycle bin. I checked everything; so far, I'm not missing anything pertinent.

CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) and SpybotS&D.
AdAware tends to find spyware cookies.
Firefox with the noscript addon will stop most of them dead. SpybotS&D inoculates and blacklists known (very) bad websites, or at least their drive by warez.

I use both Spybot and AdAware, although I use Spybot more often (daily) to clean any possible spyware. Both can and are used to prevent spyware from getting in, but they also can be used to clean any that may have gotten in. I don't think there is any conflict, but I'm no expert.

Ah, Prague. One of my favorite cities. It's a magical place.
I've been there many times when I worked in Europe. I always seemed very relaxed and at peace in Prague, especially sitting in the Stare Mesto, the old town square, having a coffee or a beer and just people watching and letting the day go by. The Christmas Market in Stare Mesto is one of my favorite things, especially if it is snowing.

Gay marriage opponents win the "somebody think of the children" argument, since there's no way kids can't find out about homosexuality outside of public school. Muslim-Americans are worried that loose cannon will hurt their image. I always knew Tarantino movies were Republican propaganda fodder, and now I have proof. Bobby Dingleberry raids an ACORN office. A Florida shooter was an ex-engineer employee forced to slum for Subway, because he couldn't even get his unemployment benefits. Kucinich finally gets an ex-Polish Revolutionary War supporter honorary citizenship. The LAPD finally finds time, in its efforts to racial-profile and arrest the poor, to make more rape kits available. Mont Blanc loses 18 inches of snow. Unemployment around the world. For some reason, when private organizations handle distribution of H1N1 vaccine, there's a shortage. (Unless you work on Wall Street...) The Senate Dems flip off the Repugs from blocking watered-down climate change reform. Schumer's upset about our green jobs going to China. He also didn't like NAFTA much, either. When the economy wins, workers lose.

This isn't going to go over well.
I see this as an opportunity. If he wants to take this position, I say fine. It gives us an opportunity to say ok, fine. We're outta here. And as far as having to stay there to train people in the Afghan forces. I say bring them to the US. Train them there. Take 2000 at a time. Maybe more. Just use different military installations. Then get the allies to do the same . Then all of the allies can contribute the the weaponry to defend themselves.
Now, I know some people will not like this. I'd rather see a peace deal worked out. But at the very least, this can get us out of Afghanistan.
Same for Iraq. We have plenty of training facilities in the US.
Because this kinda stuff has to end.
Not to mention how the public feels.
