Speaking of that top story you missed according to ForeignPolicy.com, the White House has issued a statement today on the signing of the "Peaceful Atomic Energy" act with India, while the Indian Prime Minister has already said that India will not be bound by "extraneous conditions" in developing their nuclear program. India's version of a signing statement, no doubt.

Does this put anyone else in mind of our short-sighted "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" version of foreign policy in funding Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden against Iran? How do you think this will impact our relationship with Pakistan?
