Clearly high from her success in initiating the snowball that lost the Edwards campaign two bloggers, Michelle Malkin has set herself a new target: the "leftist blogosphere".

The only problem: none of the blogosphere, left or otherwise, knows who is this person with whom Malkin wants to smear the netroots. Matt Ortega tries to divine the logic:

Michelle Malkin posted a story about a deranged University of Mary Washington graduate, Andrew Stone, that attacked UMW student and College Republican David Pannell at his home recently. Stone had retrieved Pannell's address from his Facebook profile and picked him out because he is a Republican.

[..]According to Malkin and her online allies, the media refuses to (a) cover it and (b) specifically state Stone's political agenda. Citing a sentence in a Fredericksburg Freelance-Star article that reads, "It was not clear in the report what political agenda Stone was supporting," and Malkin cries foul. (An e-mail she received from the victim says the student newspaper plans to investigate Stone's ties to organizations on campus.)[..]
There was nothing produced, as of yet, that specifically labels Stone as a Democrat, but do not let that get in the way and cloud your judgment, they'd say. Facts are what you make of them. (The imagination of right-wingers with which to describe this guy is bewildering and simply amazes me. Undeterred by the utter lack of evidence to support them, they find it free-range to classify Stone as a "liberal" (and again) involved in the "peace movement," or as a part of the "nutroots," the derogatory term used for the left blogosophere and other aspersions, Malkin's right-wing friends heard the call and answered.)

Furthermore, Good Lt wonders why the left-blogosphere has not denounced Stone yet. (Here's a hint, we have never heard of him and he has nothing to do with us, but again, that is just a minor detail to be ignored.)
