This morning on "Face The Nation", Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told Bob Schieffer of his disappointment in the lack of progress from the Iraqi government and that a growing number of Republicans are coming around to the idea of reducing troop levels as recommended by the Iraq Study Group as early as this fall.

While you could call this a sign of progress on the part of the Republicans, they still don't get it. McConnell still clings to the fighting them over there nonsense, while the majority of Americans want to end the disgraceful occupation of Iraq and bring the troops home now. The Republicans can run away from President Bush, but they can no longer hide from the American people...
