He even suggests that maybe Murdoch should pay Regan off to make it go away. Neither professional rivalry or direct competition (certainly not journalistic integrity) can override Chris Matthews' loyalty to the Village. (Of course it's entirely possible that GE/NBC has a similar arrangement with the Giuliani campaign, judging by the coverage.)
