The same people who won't let kids ride a bike without a helmet seem to have no problem with football injuries.

About 80 percent of people agree that children should be permitted to play football despite the risk of injury associated with it, a new poll says.
Nearly three quarters of the 1002 polled by Fairleigh Dickinson University/PublicMind also said they were aware of a $914 settlement between the National Football League and former players over traumatic brain injuries. A federal judge last week blocked the ruling.
