TRENTON — Fallout from the George Washington Bridge controversy continued today as officials reacted to Gov. Chris Christie's apology over the September lane closures that turned the streets of Fort Lee into gridlock.

State Assemblyman John Wisniewski (D-Middlesex) said the following after David Wildstein, a former top official at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, refused to answer questions about the closure from members of the Assembly transportation committee:
