House Science Committee Hard At Work: More Hearings On Aliens Than Climate Change (Video)
Committee Chairman Lamar Smith, who refuses to acknowledge that climate change is caused in part by humans, took the aliens issue very seriously.

This is absolutely frightening. Instead of focusing on climate change in this session of Congress, House committees tasked with covering U.S. energy and science have held a total of seven hearings to discuss climate change. In contrast, the two chambers have held a combined 19 hearings about space exploration in that same time period. What’s interesting is that while Republicans believe human-caused climate change is simply a liberal lie, they also have opted to focus on cuts to NASA and science funding.
