Silk Road Music has a very good arrangement of this mongolian-influenced tune, so our ensemble decided to use it as a basis for our own. However, unlike on this recording, we'll be featuring some taiko to simulate a horse's gallop and I'll be playing a shinobue (Japanese transverse flute) in accompaniment to the erhu (Chinese violin).
