Apparently, there's a group of "truthers" who believe that Stevie Wonder isn't actually blind and that it's some sort of prank that got way out of hand. As interesting as that might sound, it's also pretty insensitive and weird. They back up their claim with a lot of evidence, but nothing really damning.

While we're on the topic of weird situations involving Stevie Wonder, he also did the soundtrack to a '70s documentary called "Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants." The movie doesn't have any real agenda, but it does seek to enlighten the world about the cognitive abilities of plants. That's right, the cognitive abilities of plants, which don't have brains or central nervous systems.
