Hannity Pre-Blames Obama For Any Violence In Ferguson
The grand jury hasn't decided yet but Hannity and Mark Fuhrman just know that any resulting violence will be Obama's fault.
Sean Hannity is ready for the Ferguson, Missouri grand jury’s decision on whether or not to indict police officer Darren Wilson for the shooting death of unarmed Michael Brown. Whatever unrest happens, it will be the Obama administration’s fault.
Hannity began his Thursday night discussion with a clip of Michael Brown’s father calling for peace and constructive change. Hannity could not have showed less interest. But he couldn’t stop talking about blaming Obama for any violence that may erupt.
Hannity teamed up with one of his favorite African American black attackers, David Webb and, for extra white-boy winks to his audience, racist Mark Fuhrman.
Hannity started with Webb, who was in Ferguson:
HANNITY: David, let me ask you this. You’re on the ground there. The president has weighed in on this. Eric Holder’s weighed in multiple times, even this week. My question is, they weighed in without hearing any of the evidence in this case. Didn’t they create in the minds of some people that a specific decision would be reached here and if that doesn’t occur, aren’t they responsible for creating that expectation and whatever violence may happen as a result?
Webb didn’t get with the program quite the way Hannity hoped. Webb said, “Yeah, when you’re talking about the bully pulpit that the president and the attorney general has, they do have a megaphone that magnifies situation.” But then Webb went on to discuss the “integrity of the process.”
Hannity barely let Webb finish because, apparently, he was so eager to see if he could get Fuhrman to blame Obama. For extra racial dog whistle points, Hannity worked Al Sharpton into the “question.”
HANNITY: You know, Mark, the president has weighed in with no information. The attorney general has done so. 81 times Al Sharpton is at the White House and the president, the day after Election Day is telling him and other protesters, “Stay the course?” How would you interpret “stay the course?”
Fuhrman didn’t quite get with the program, either. He thought “stay the course” meant “keep the pressure up and keep the sound, the voice of the people up.” However, he did take a swipe at the Obama administration for having gotten involved in the Michael Brown. “They got involved in something that they don’t have to deal with, the State of Missouri does.”
But that wasn’t quite what Hannity was hoping for.
HANNITY: Last question for both of you, it’s a yes or no answer. If, God forbid something happens and I pray it doesn’t, does the president and Eric Holder – do they bear some culpability in whipping people’s minds up here?
Finally, Hannity got what he wanted. Fuhrman said, “Yes, absolutely.” Webb said, “Yes, they do, Absolutely.”
Hannity closed the segment.
But Hannity is in no position to be feigning concern about violent protests getting "whipped up" when he all but urged racist Cliven Bundy and his militia-type supporters to start an armed conflict with the federal government.
Then again, Bundy is white and Hannity has admitted he cares "deeply about race." But he never needed to tell us.
