Amanaz is said to be one of the more prominent artists within the Zamrock genre that emerged in the '70s. If you're unfamiliar with what Zamrock is, it's a musical style that came out of Zambia that derived from a combination of Jimi Hendrix's psychedelic rock and James Brown's funk.
